just wow......

I thought Drummond being at the same level as Davis is ridiculous, but this...

I know you love me. I knew you would find this and take it out of context.

do you understand that Wilt and Russell divided the 60s between them two selves? that there are few things on par with the Wilt-Russell debate in basketball? that it's a debate about top10 players of all-time?

I understand that it would be almost impossible for two players in today's game to win all 10 titles of a decade because of parity, but I have a hard time seeing a reason for someone to say that Drummond would lead a team to even a couple championships and there being this discussion of Davis vs. Drummond. it's ludicrous to put the guy in the same thought as Wilt and Russell.

not to even mention the fact, that Davis is absolutely simply a better basketball player than Drummond.

Ricky Rubio is the most overrated player in the game today.

Fun to watch, good defender, but he's not that good.

I understand all of that and like I said you took it out of context. All you seen was "Wilt vs Russell" and went crazy. I was making a comparison that Drummond could end up winning championships by using his dominant size while Davis can keep putting up absurd numbers because of his skill and it would be a similar situation to Wilt and Russell. Either way, it's not that big of a divide between the two, Drummond and Davis. Of course Davis is curently better but they're both still growing as players and we don't know what they'll be in their primes so it's still debatle on who you'd rather have between Davis or Drummond for the future.

and I'm saying against that I don't see Drummond winning multiple championships. I know it's early but I just don't think he'll be THAT good.

As horrible as he shoots and as much as he look to pass, you would think he lead the league in assist the way people talk about him. He about to be making more money than Rondo without half of the success.

Yeah, for as much as he passes, you would think he would have posted more assists last season playing on one of the fastest paced teams in the league and with the one of the best shooting/scoring PFs in the game, one of the better shooters in the game in Martin, and a 17 point per game center.

I still find that so funny considering what a weird dude Mychal Thompson was during his own playing days. Definitely wouldn't have thought of him as such a father figure.

I think we simply need to get adjusted to the new and bigger amounts of money in these contracts. In three years we won't think of $12 million as we do today. Of course, there will be deals that won't work out (a la Bryant Reeves) but NBA fans have had the same reaction every time the salaries got higher (even when it was concerning great players like Garnet's huge deal).

Crawford is a mindless chucker just look at his Offensive Rating its barely league average, Bismack has a higher rating! and that usage! my gawd its so high!

I don't know where you're getting those numbers (I guess, bk-ref) but that just isn't true.

He doesn't stand out as much as you would think but he's up there with an 109 off rtg among the other Clipper best players. Of course, in a way that's a product of their environment but he's definitely a useful offensive player.

Did anyone catch the CHI/MIN game? It sucks that MIN lost, they were just about to pull it out, but the CHI announcers kept saying something like "free cheese" every time Pau Gasol scored -- does anyone know what that is about? CHI sure has some annoying announcers.

I caught that also. Was annoying as hell.

"Free cheese" mean that there's a mouse in the house meaning that whoever was guarding Pau was too small. It had to had been Stacey King. Lol. He stay saying off the wall stuff.

put curry on this team as our pg and we are a legitimate contender this year - and for the next three years as well. that kid is amazing and exactly what we need to balance out our roster.

We should have signed Ed Davis this offseason. He's been playing pretty well for LA and he makes less than a million this year. Dude would have been way better for us than Maxiell.

Maybe after being trapped in Memphis he couldn't wait to get to a city like Los Angeles. Both are crapholes in my opinion but what do I know about being an NBA player at a party with celebrities.

fun Clippers - Kings game. everyone is energized and doesn't want to lose, a lot of talking going on. Cousins is playing with personal vengeance against the Clippers bigs, while Hollins has spent half of this game standing on his feet, yelling out defensive commands and screaming at Clippers shooters.

I hope the Clippers lose. They should arguably be 0-2 at this point, but they ended up pulling out both of their previous two games (I'm happy they beat LAL, though). They probably could use a loss to someone like SAC to jolt them out of how they've been playing to start the season.

The way teams throwing money at these role players, it's making Rudy Gay's contract look good.
