Thanks Paydro. Tried to look into Pandora and got shot down:

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

Very interested in ShopSavvy so will try that. Any specific GPS apps you would recommend for her phone?

I really only know about Apple OS, but I suggest a good Google search to find apps.

If the app store is anything like on the iPhone, just pull it up and go to the most purchased apps. The other consumers will tell you what the best are.

Who would win in a RealGM vs. BobcatsPlanet debate?

(this is something, as a BCP mod, I'm seriously looking to set up and watch play out)

Mate, I'm guessing they would by default because I doubt you could find enough posters over here who could be bothered debating with them.

It just wouldn't be worth the while.

It's funny - RGM has never considered there to be any competition between the two sites - because really there is no competition at all. For some strange reason some posters over there seem to want to create something out of nothing.

Little man syndrome I guess?

(under/over of how long this post will take to appear in the "look at what they are saying about BCP over at RGM" thread. Greatest "classy" thread of all time )

I wasn't trying to imply that there is some competition from either side and I'm definitely not trying to pick fights between both sites. I just think it'd be interesting, and a nice change of pace, to see the stat side (RGM) and "watch the game" side (BCP) hash out the Ray/Tyrus/LB topics with each other and offer different means to an end.

As far as I know Slam, there are no midgets over on BCP. Little man syndrome does not apply ;)

Oh I know you don't think that way (about some sort of thing between the two boards that doesn't exist) but there is no doubt some of the kids over there do.

It's SUCH a pity what's happened over there. The place was once such a relief. Now it's..............well, it's just not.

We are just lucky that we have RGM - a place where stat heads and feel-o-meter guys can come together and respect each others opinions and allow everyone to have a voice. We have a great mix of all types here.

Anyone watching Mayweather/Mosley tonight? Should be a great one.

i dont understand all this rgm vs bcp stuff. the boards both serve two different purposes for bobcats fans. bcp caters to fans looking for more local posters, more news driven and interaction with mostly other local bobcats fans. rgm caters to fans looking for interaction between fans different teams, general nba topics and serves a more international fanbase.

anyway... count me out for any cross board debates.

True, but the 2nd round was pretty awesome. First time I've seen someone stun Mayweather like that. Honestly, if not for the 24/7 episodes on HBO, I wouldn't care much for any of these fights. For me at least, that show does a ridiculously good job of building up fights.

Old Navy (across the country, not just regionally) is selling vintage Charlotte Hornets T's as part as their collectors edition T-shirts and they are awesome. Just picked one up. They only have a few NBA teams, the others being Vintage Celtics, Cavs, and Bulls. I was surpirsed walking in to Old Navy and seeing that Hornets shirt, and I picked one up immediately.

Just a heads up

Is that good? What do I need to know about this new world of apps and shenanigans? What is something we must do or download or set up now she has this swanky phone?

More the fool am I!!

Turns out it's an LG Xenon - if that matters? Still trying to figure out how to down load apps! We SUCK at this.

A Xenon? Well that does matter, that's a much older and less powerful phone. I don't think it can really run apps, at least not the way an Eve can. I'm no cell phone expert though.

Draft ideas? Fantasy Draft Scavenger Hunt (whatever the thing was called that we did last year), 2nd Annual Cathouse draft (probably shouldn't be advocating for this... but never was board morale higher), what are other ideas, I feel like there were a lot of them.

The 2nd annual cathouse draft WILL be taking place, whatever the consequences.

I don't know what the scavenger hunt is referring to.

As far as I'm concerned there is no bad idea for a draft.

Scavenger hunt was when we had to fill obscure cats: less than 9mpg mpg, former player that didn't play in the nba in 08-09, foreign born, etc.
