You have to remember that even if Tyrus is amnestied, Michael Jordan still has to pay his salary. Unless MJ has a change of heart, we aren't going to spend a ton of money in the immediate future. There's no reason to amnesty Tyrus if we're way below the salary cap and still in the rebuilding process.

Tyrus for a case of Schlitz? Nah, asking too much. Better make it a sixer of Mickey's.

If I'm not completely mistake, any new contract they receive means money you personally aren't paying (but that the player still receives).

While that is the case, MJ still shells out a ton of money if the highest bid is 1-2m.

Look at Travis Outlaw. The Kings bid 3m on him. He gets 3m over the next four seasons (including this season). New Jersey, however, is on the hook for 4m over the next four years. I just can't see MJ paying the amount of money (probably 4m+) we would be on the hook for if we amnestied Tyrus. Even worse, if no team places a bid, we're on the hook for everything and he's free to sign with anyone.

We're better off riding it out until his deal runs out, we find a trade partner, or he does a Darius Miles.

marvin williams, biedrins, or milsap would be fine with me but if we do that deal for milsap I would like for Utah to throw in the draft pick they own from Golden State to sweeten the deal.

Golden State seems dumb and despaired enough to give us a good deal for Tyrus. He's like the Golden State dream player to that organization. Sorry floppymoose, but you know thats true.

why would GSW want Tyrus and Lee??

Maggette was better at playing Pf in GSW than TT could.
They just need to sign Acie Law to play Sf for them again. :D

"What he makes (financially), I don't care about that," Silas said. "I look at what he does on the court, and he's just not playing that well.

"He's just got to concentrate on his game and what he's doing wrong."

IF tyrus is sick he needs to say so... he is not helping anyone by playing poorly when everyone thinks your healthy

I bet Tyrus is around 200 pounds right now. It'd be one thing if he was just having a bad year shooting-wise, but he's also rebounding worse than he ever has. He's gotta put on some weight to battle with these neanderthals.
Humble yourself.
