Ok, I know you like Beal and Lamb and you seem to be OK with this pick, but don't you think we would've been better off with Beal instead of transitioning MKG to the 2? I feel like we drafted for our biggest need here, and I hate it.

I think they really like MKG's upside, but my problem is that Kemba-Henderson-MKG will not work long-term. They effectively lowered the value of one of their three best assets (Biz being the third).

Don't bring out the parade until Memphis picks...we could have picked him for Memphis and trade for Rudy Gay.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist says he likens his game to Rudy Gay, "long, athletic defender".

Not happy with this pick- we just chose a guy whose cieling is Iggy with the #2 pick, he has a broken jumpshot....

I'm rollin' with Cho. Not the man I wanted but if Cho thinks he's the guy, then he's my guy too.

Hopefully Mike Dunlap has a training DVD that teaches shooting fundamentals because MKG needs a copy for every room of his house.

MKG is a great addition but I'm disappointed we didn't trade down to get him. We could have traded down and picked up a late first rounder.

Dont trade the kid. He's gonna be a game changer for this organization. Easy to cheer for MKG. Great kid, and will be a terrific Bobcat.

It's easier to teach a guy how to shoot than to teach all of the other things mkg can do. With his work ethic hell be fine. The best 2 players from this years championship team aren't great shooters. Not saying he's as Good as either but, jus sayin.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell
Kidd-Gilchrist is from New Jersey, but his mother's family is from Charlotte and Winston-Salem.

Can MKG be #Bobcats' Cam Newton? "I definitely hope I can be something like that. I'm a winner, so I don't see why not.''

I'm happy with this pick.

When the lottery results first came in I was leaning MKG. Then I was sold on Thor for a while. Then Beal. Back to Thor. And over the last few days I started warming up to MKG again.

You never know for sure who is going to make it in this league, but I have a good feeling about MKG. I'm glad the Cats picked him.

I'm happy we snagged MKG. I;m so tired of seeing heartless, lazy slobs in Cats unis. I know MKG will be bringing it on every play.
