On the surface it's hard not to like it though.

Can't be more than the MLE which is still a good deal. Hopefully 2 or 3 years maybe.

Most we can offer him is the MLE right? So around 6-7 million, I'll take that.

Well we literally can't offer more than $5.4m barring a S&T.

Without DeAndre Jordan we're a much better team than the Mavericks, don't see why this is so surprising.

A steal if the length of the deal goes into the new cap.

Let the Cho and Lin chinese jokes begin. Great signing. We finally got a good backup PG other than those couple of weeks of MoWill when Kemba was hurt so theoretically he was a starter so we didn't have a good backup. Lol

This organization may be lacking in several areas, but we've proven to be consistent players in free agency. In this era of shortened contracts that is a very good thing to have in your back pocket.

I thought he might have been offered the starting role at the Mav's, so we had no hope.

Good job front office.

Great signing. There's no way this can catastrophically backfire. Lin is a legitimate fringe starter and even better suited to be a great backup in the NBA

...waiting for details...

A bit surprised considering he had stated he was only going to a team where he would be a starter. Maybe they offered a chance for him to compete for the starting position?

Money talks.

If money talks, he would have just signed with the Mavs since they have a ton of space with DJ going back to LA and no starting PG.

I hope he didn't get hacked. I wonder about the details of the signing but its hard not to be excited after waiting on something to happen for what seemed like forever.

Lin was my favorite option available to be Charlotte's backup point guard, so it's nice to see it come to fruition. Cho has been doing a lot of things that I could get behind this offseason in comparison to last offseason when it was the total opposite

yes!!!!

Got my guy I have been promoting all along.

Imagine a second unit with Lin and Frank working the PnR game surrounded by the shooting of Jeremy Lamb, Troy Daniels and Spencer Hawes.

And he has the size to play with Kemba for stretches.

LETS GO!!!!!
