Campbell & Associates, a law firm based in Charlotte, will donate $10 to the Hemby Children’s Hospital for every rebound Cody gets this season. For more information on the program, visit campbellandcody.com.

Cody was terrific tonight. Can't understand the hate on him from the fan base. He's so good at virtually everything except rebounding

Is there still hate for Cody? I feel like he's shut up just about all his critics this year, at least on this board.

My gf calls him "Hayseed". Thinks he's goofy and adorable.

Hoosier Hustler - The Cody Zeller Thread

The fierce brawling that took place in Indiana involved enough biting that the expression "Whose ear?" became notable. This arose from or inspired the story of two 19th-century French immigrants brawling in a tavern in the foothills of southern Indiana. One was cut and a third Frenchman walked in to see an ear on the dirt floor of the tavern, prompting him to slur out "Whosh ear?"

Cody's in concussion protocol. I can't remember, did he get hit in the face vs Cleveland?

The Charlotte Hornets announced today that center Cody Zeller has been placed in the NBA’s concussion protocol. Zeller was hit with an elbow to the head late in the fourth quarter of Charlotte’s game against Cleveland on Dec. 31, 2016. Per the NBA’s Concussion Policy, Zeller will begin the process to return once he is deemed symptom free. No timetable is set for his return and further updates will be provided when available.

You have to be kidding me. That was the play where he went to the ground, hit by Love, then Love and MKG get tangled while heading out of bounds. End result, Cavs ball.

I remember that play. I kept waiting for a whistle.

When a guy goes down like that with no foul it's bad officiating.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Zeller has by far the best net rating on the team at +9.0. The Hornets now are also 0-4 without him.

Given the drop-off the team experiences once he sits (and the fact that Hibbert + Hawes then make up for 48 minutes of playing time), you could almost say that he's their most important player.

Yea there's not much quality depth in the frontcourt on this team outside of Cody. The falloff is significant in efficiency and intangibles. Hibbert and Hawes have sucked as well as Marv and Frank. I hope Cho is looking for a trade to sure up our frontcourt for the postseason. Otherwise we'll get exposed and will be out in the 1st round again.

Yeah we can't guard ANYONE without zeller on the floor.

I knew giving Hibbert that huge deal was a huge mistake. We needed to sign a defensive minded center.

A 1 year, $5M deal is not huge by any reasonable definition.

At least Cody does not risk a suspension for trying to hurt Love's elbow with his head.

Pretty huge for a guy that should be our 3rd string center. And not a good one at that. The going rate should be near the vet minimum. For the price of sessions and Hibbert we coulda kept Lee or lin
