Miles can only do so much.

Thor can't even box out DJ Carton. Legitimately zero basketball nous.

The good thing about us coming back down to earth is Clifford is likely gone.

Re: GT: Charlotte vs Raps 3/3 6PM EST
i know Bertans can shoot the 3, but i hate that play call. Having him create a contested 3 like that is just low percentage.
I was joking before Clifford, I dont think Bertans is like Steph Curry. You need someone else to create and pass to him when hes open

Re: GT: Charlotte vs Raps 3/3 6PM EST
oof. Well I mean not gonna win too many games with Thor & McGowens as primary bench.
Kinda unbelievable that the Hornets added 5 new guys since the deadline and still have to play Thor and McG

Re: GT: Charlotte vs Raps 3/3 6PM EST
He flashed some D at the end there and finished the game with 3 steals. He's shooting > 40% from 3% this season and close to 39% for his career. He's 6' 5". He's still only 25.
I would like to see the Hornets offer Trent Jr. the starting job this offseason. Carve out some cap space for him if possible.

Awful loss to watch but it helps the tank, I am numb to losses at this point.

Hornets need to come away this offseason with one (1) of Malik Beasley or Gary Trent Jr. if they can't score a force at SG, flipping the lottery pick for someone like Suggs or Trey Murphy III.
If the new front office reads they can compete in the free agent market for a starting SG then by all means keep the lottery pick unless teams in need of a PG like the Spurs. Pelicans, Magic, Wizards are willing to trade up.
The outgoing front office didn't trade back from 3 for LaMelo despite rumors of 8-9 suitors. Nor did they budge from 2 for Miller. I would have to think about trading back in this draft if the offer comes with both a later pick and a player who can start alongside LaMelo.
