Micic is having a great last quarter, our defence sucks though

Silver lining tonight is Jeff Peterson has a front row seat to Nick Richards.

Mann giving me hope. Micic giving me hope. Either could be viable at PG2. They've benefited from these reps more than anyone. Even Bertans has new life.

Mann and Micic coming off the bench with Bertans and even Curry in certain situations gives this franchise a ton of hope.

If only our center didn't apparently get paralyzed and our star point guard continuously break his ankle.

Would've won if Miles wasn't terrible.

Miles was atrocious. He looks tired. I think his minutes are up there in the whole NBA. Miller looks tired in spurts as well. Playing an 8 man rotation in a lost season is so weird.

I didn't even think about Miles minutes. Just looked and he plays a **** ton. I knew he played a lot but 40 41 39 38 40 etc.

That's a lot.

At this point, I'm angry about the prolonged injuries to LaMelo and Mark.

One is the engine of the offense.

The other is the anchor of the defense.

So we didn't get to sneak a preview of the new look Hornets fully healthy. We have no idea how they'll play.

The new bench players look good enough to not be a liability. There's money to further fortify the bench now that Rozier's contract is off the books.

We should have more talent next season but also more depth.

team didn't play terrible from what i saw, Orlando were just clearly better.

with Bertans team option, it might be worthwhile negotiating with him to a cheaper contract over a few more years. He has to be enjoying himself with the opportunity hes getting.

I'll admit it, I doomed this team pre season when I bet money they would win 35 games.

That just guaranteed players would get injured.

He's one ugly son of a bitch but he plays hard and everytime he shoots i feel like it's going in. Every team needs a guy like that.

He's cooked. Miller is fighting it. They don't have the juice to stay consistently good.

Again, 8 man rotation is inexcusable given our fate. This is not a forward-thinking coach. The NBA is a long season.

These injuries (2 years running) are happening under a coach who just played an 8 man rotation in a meaningless game.

Nick Smith Jr. was 6th in 3 PT% in the entire NBA.

Would it have hurt to lengthen to 9 players and try to score some points?

On the bright side, if the Spurs win we are just 1 game out of having that top 3 pick. Maybe we get lucky and win the #1 pick.

Indeed, example number 472 of why Cliff MUST NOT RETURN. Frankly if I’m Peterson I would have fired him by now, and hired Bud. Not to rescue us this season…to begin the rebuild by setting the foundation.

Eight player rotation is insane. Fire this man before he breaks more players.

iso 1v1, 4 guys standing, 3 if it's a screen, try to get in paint with 1v1 iso, then pass to 3pt line... repeat. super creative stuff. different players, same vanilla preseason level offense.
