He was a rotation player in a Finals team, so seems like that's safe to say.
A healthy Cody would be a rotation player on pretty much any playoff team. Talent isn't the issue. It's health. His lesser talented twin was damn near best player on the heat finals team few years ago.

I'm a Cody Stan. Maybe green is a better fit due tob3pt shooting, but I feel pretty good about saying Cody is more talented. Dude just can't stay healthy.

I mean I don't think anyone knows what Cody is right now because he can't stay healthy. But if we're comparing good healthy Cody to Green, seems like they are probably similar players, with Green being the superior outside shooter but both are low volume.

Why wouldn’t you want a younger, less injured version?

Green doesn’t have Martin’s passing but is a bit more consistent from 3 and plays a bit springier. I think they both struggle with consistency on the offensive end though.

I was kind of hoping we'd get to see him on a team not coached by Clifford for some games before letting him loose.

The skyball dude in the mens beach volleyball is nuts. Literally hits the ball 50 feet into the air on his serves.

Didn’t make the last cut, too many defensive average offence guards.

Micic is torching Anthony Edwards. He also looks heavier than the end of the NBA season.

There's no cohesion to this US team at all. Edwards, Booker and White are just standing around on offense

US might be screwed in 4 years. Curry and Durant are exactly what you want for FIBA basketball, and there's currently nobody to replace them in 4 years, especially Curry. LeBron also way too physical for most international teams and that safety blanket won't be there in 4 years either. I don't believe Tatum can do what Durant or Lebron is doing. Edwards isn't really built for FIBA and has frankly looked bad. Brandon Miller ironically has a good shot if makes the leap, he can create and snipe like Durant. Flagg looks to be a good international style player as well. But the guards-in-waiting ain't it. Kyrie is going to have to come back and be the savior at 36 years old. Maybe Reed Sheppard is amazing?

Hali will help with 4 more years of experience, Maxey could be a nice bench piece, White should still be around

Melo should be in his prime then too. Can't rule him out already.

So, a little bit of awesome. I randomly have the gold medal game tuned in on Telemundo. One of the two announcers? Walter Hermann.

Can't wait to see Miller on the 28 team. I think he's going to have a legit shot to make the roster with his shooting ability.

Not really many players at his position that will be a threat.

LeBron/KD are on the way out.

Tatum/Booker are the only locks. Miller should be next up.

If I was LaMelo or Brandon Miller I'd be 100% locked in to step up and carry the torch for Team USA in 4 years. It will be wide open with LeBron, Curry, and Durant all out of the picture. Both of them are made for international basketball, we need to lock in as an organization to get them where they need to be. I want to see the Charlotte Hornets stepping up to make sure we take home the gold medal in LA in 2028.
