Yeah I'd be a big fan of being able to trust timelines we see.

Green and Salaun in practice gear, Mark and Miller at least out on the court moving around.

Hopefully we are just being cautious with these injury assessments.

I know this teams history says otherwise, but without that my assumption would be this is minor/precautionary and Miller is back by next weekend if not the Toronto game

guys I know we all have injury PTSD from the last few years but the entire training staff was revamped. it was a huge priority for the owners and for Jeff Peterson, and they have all been public about that throughout the offseason. I think we can afford to take the evaluations and timelines at face value until we have evidence otherwise.

I’m not blaming any staff member or anything. It’s more a frustration because while injuries happen to every team, backups and third-stringers on this team are indestructible and the must-haves are made of glass.

only positive i can really glean from Miller going down early is that at least it gives us every chance to establish the correct pecking order in the easiest way. This is LaMelo's team and the other guys need to work around that. theres no reason Melo shouldnt be putting up superstar numbers. not all star, superstar. 27/8/10. He's not a prospect anymore, its time. if he goes down again with a significant injury, hand the reins off for good

We really need to find a way to start Grant Williams to set a tone of physicality every game. We have to have somebody to counter with when the Dillion Brooks, FVV and Josh Green types are being very handsy and overly physical with your guards. In the event the officials are going to call a game like that where they are letting guys play, you need somebody who can win the fight.

It's too true.

Shorterm non-core players like Mason Plumlee, Terry Rozier, and Kelly Oubre got the ball more over these past 2 seasons than LaMelo Ball.

Now Micic is going to log more minutes drunk in the first 14 games than Brandon Miller sober.

Mark will need more than 2 more years to catch up to Nick Richards in games played.

And who's the first draw at center? Alpren Sengün.

The more we need a dude, the less he's available. The less we need him? Ish was an ironman.

We obviously can't sustain this which is why we finished bottom 5 both injury-filled seasons.

We haven't seen our regular guys play together since JB.

If lamelo gets a triple double I win 440 tonight. Let's do this.

I'm assuming no Miller factored into this wager.

More touches/attempts for LaMelo.

Eh having miller would help with assist. I just felt froggy. Had a bet boost so instead of +1100 odds i got +1600. Bet 25

Without the help of our #2 scoring option, Hornets need more playmaking on the floor. Mann needs to be out there or else Coach Lee is squandering LaMelo minutes.

Damn, 4-16.

Lee is staggering LaMelo & Mann instead of combining them.

What do you say coach?

Maybe quit splitting up those 2?

If we aren't making 3's, we can't score.
