Also, watched Kentucky lose to Notre Dame tonight and other than that being a game Kentucky wants to completely forget happened, Poythress looks more like a wing than a post to me. Drafting him is fine by me as long as we plan on playing him at the three with MKG at the 2 going forward

And he looks like Perry Jones

We won't receive the Portland pick this year why do we want it in a week draft anyway.? Minny, gsw, rockets, jazz, are all better than them.

Well Kentucky lost again. Rough shooting game for Noel, but he was rebounding well.

I think the Kentucky guys will start to slip if they cant start winning.

At this point after seeing how our team has been performing, and Hendo about come back any day now, I really have one main concern with this team. REPLACING MULLENS. Our depth on our team is surprisingly good with Sessions, Biyombo and Gordon. Gordon and Sessions are really good scorers off the bench and Biz is starting to find his way. I would have no problem replacing Mullens on the first unit. I know what you're thinking, he's our only scorer on the first unit outside of Kemba. I honestly don't care about that, he takes bad shots and is the biggest liability on defense. Who in this draft can potentially replace Mullens?
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

MKG will be a scorer. Hendo and JT are scorers, and one of them will be starting. MKG and JT just need to mature as offensive players.

In the latest mock drafts it seems as if Nerlens Noel has dropped out of the top 3 to about mid/late lottery...and as if the 'Cats won't have a draft pick in the 1st or 2nd rounds due to the current PFs, Tyrus Thomas (Chicago) & Byron Mullens (Oklahoma City)

Cho will get us a draft pick somehow. Next year's draft has a ton of solid big men, and that's exactly what we need.

We'll have a fairly high pick by the time the draft rolls around

I went through the schedule of our remaining games, and I was very surprised. Based on how well we have played so far the majority of our remaining schedule looked very winnable. I only counted 27 games that we couldn't win on our best days, and most of those were away games verses the elite teams. We very well may be giving this pick to Chicago.

This team won't win more than 32 games, and thats a stretch.

Still think this current squad will net us around 22-24 wins.
Seems like this draft class is getting poopooed already though

Got to learn to read between the lines cuz. We will not win all of our winnable games. No team ever wins all of their winnable games. The point is that we have a very favorable over all schedule.

Ben McLemore from Kansas is really working his way up draft boards. I haven't seen a Kansas game yet but I keep hearing he's a fantastic athlete with a great jumper and is a strong defender. Sounds like he'd fit in very nicely with what we're working on.

Very intriguing player. For a draft that everyone says is weak. Interesting players continue to surface. We haven't even discussed Kentavious Pope, Glenn Robinson, and CJ Wilcox.

Glenn Robinson III is an intriguing prospect that I expect to jump into lottery discussion come March Madness. He's gifted with size and shooting range. I think the only question that scouts are looking for a answer from his skill sets is if he can play SG. If that answer is yes than I anticipate his draft stock to catapult into top 5.

You guys must have missed me talking about Robinson the other day. I'm a huge fan of him and I think he has potential to be a great do-it-all type of player

That whole Michigan team is one I've been following for a long time now and it's pretty documented how big a 1fan of Hardaway Jr I am, so I've caught a number of Robinson's games this year.

He's one of those guys who is more of an athlete than a basketball player so he isn't a highly skilled player, but he has every sort of physical attribute you could want. He's really the third option on that team so he gets most of his points as garbage buckets being an energy guy so it's hard to gauge is potential in that area. Plays with energy and hits the glass, while being a good defender.

I'm not sure he's the type of guy we'd be targeting though as he's more of a poor man's MKG and we really need to be targeting a high level scorer.

I think you're underestimating the value that Glenn Robinson III may become in the NBA. Not every future scoring star in league put up big numbers as freshman in college. Robinson III reminds me of Paul Pierce a little. I expect for him to breakout at season's end

Not at all. Did you miss the part where I said "it's hard to hard his potential in that area" regarding his scoring production?

From what I've seen, he doesn't have the advanced skill level like a Paul Pierce. While he isn't a featured option on that team I can honestly say that I've yet to see a consistent post game, dribble game, or spot up game. He's an energy guy who does a lot of dirty work, but I don't think he's the guy who can be a consistent 20+ ppg guy in the NBA.

So I think saying he reminds you of one of the best scorers in recent NBA memory is a stretch.
