Under; Terrence Ross will be all over Ben McLemore tonight, trying to make a statement

Took SAC eight minutes to score their first basket. Yikes. McLemore 0-for in Q1.

Isaiah Thomas just asked Masai Ujiri where he's living in TOR and Ujiri says, "You'll have to ask my wife"!

Jonas Valancunias is starting to turn that corner. I know it's just summer league but he's been beastly.

Tony Snell is a Kawhi Leonard clone. Good looking ballplayer.

correct me if i am wrong, but i think mclemore has 0 assists thru 3 games. i thought bazz was the one who didnt pass. mclemore must be trying to show everyone that he isnt as passive at they say.

its damn near impossible to play heavy minutes at guard for 3 games and not register an assist.

Probably not until Thursday, round 2 of the SL tournament since they'll likely get a bye on Wednesday as a higher seed. On Wednesday, seeds 11-22 compete while seeds 1-10 wait for their challenger on Thursday

Well, we're currently in a mess of teams sitting at 2-1, so the point system comes into play to break those ties. The Warriors, Bulls, Suns, and D-League Select all went undefeated, so they will have the top 4 seeds. Here's what I came up with on the scoring system for seeds 5-11.

Charlotte Bobcats: 2-1 (14)
Toronto Raptors: 2-1 (14)
Cleveland Cavaliers: 2-1 (13.5)
Los Angeles Lakers: 2-1 (13)
Milwaukee Bucks: 2-1 (13)
San Antonio Spurs: 2-1 (12)
New Orleans Pelicans: 2-1 (11)

So we're guaranteed a bye at least, now to break the tie with Toronto:

1. Overall record, 3 preliminary round games
2. Quarter Scoring totals (1 point for win, .5 for tie, 0 for loss)
3. Head to Head (only in tiebreaker)
4. Point Differential
5. Coin Flip

It comes down to point 4: point differential, which we win +17 to +8. So, we should be the 5 seed and get a bye. If I'm right our next scheduled game would be Thursday at 6:30 (EST) and we'd play the winner of the 12 v. 21 game, which is tomorrow at 6:30. But I don't feel like calculating what those two teams are.
Hornets Picks by Year
2021: Bouknight, Jones, Thor, Lewis

Protection on future 1st* (to NYK); 2nds
2022: 1-18; CHA (31-55), TOR 2 (55-60)
2023: 1-16; BOS (GH)
2024: 1-14; BOS (GH)
2025: 1-14; CHA (31-55)
*Becomes two 2nds if unconveyed

The Golden State Warriors earned the first overall seed while the Chicago Bulls are the second seed. The Phoenix Suns, NBA D-League Select Team and Charlotte Bobcats round out the top five seeds.
Tournament action gets under way when the 11th seeded New Orleans Pelicans take on the 22nd seeded Denver Nuggets at 3 p.m. PT at the COX Pavilion and continues with five additional games featuring the other teams seeded 11-22. Thursday's slate tips off at 1 p.m. PT when the 7th seeded Cleveland Cavaliers take on the 10th seeded San Antonio Spurs. The eight game schedule on Thursday concludes when the top-seeded Warriors take on either the 16th seeded Dallas Mavericks or 17th seeded Los Angeles Clippers at 7:30 p.m. PT at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Right, you are, sir.

ESPN Insider article assessing the best and worst of the Vegas league so far. Obviously, can't copy lots of the article since its Insider but the good news is Cody Zeller is the top rookie player in the league so far and the bad news is MKG is the most disappointing "veteran" so far. Re: MKG, the author observed MKG's shooting mechanic is still as broken as ever (i.e., Mark Price hasn't had much impact yet) and he has had little impact on games though conceded he is still young and hopefully developing.
