I've contacted Synergy Sports with similar thoughts on my mind since they used to offer such stats to the public. I hope to gain some sort of access to their database.

Someone please for the LOVE of GOD get this information to Jordan, Cho, or Clifford. I'm tired of Al strangling this team.

It's Al's fault that our guards don't attack the basket in transition?

It''s Al's fault (and Cliff's) that our guards don't take jumpers early in the shotclock. It's also unequivocally Al's fault that we cannot guard the rim. I don't see how anyone could honestly refute that.

Am I the only one that constantly hears Clifford shouting at Kemba to push the tempo in transition? Seriously, on 30 - 40% of rebounds you can hear him shouting and seeing him motioning with his arms to get the ball up the court. When have we ever seen or heard of him discouraging guys from getting out in transition? MKG constantly did that earlier in the season.

Further, I would be VERY curious to see the stats broken out by position in the article MKIA linked to. I'm guessing that the vast majority of those shots are not taken by big men.

Also, I'm pretty sure MKIA's point and reference to "Alfense" has nothing to do with defense, or else the top 5 mark we played it at last year would put the absurdity of mocking that to bed.

I didn't say anything about transition offense. I know Clifford has been preaching for our guys to attack in transition. That's why I mentioned (outside of transition opportunities )that we rarely take shots early in the shot clock, because we don't.

As for D Al actually made an effort last year to play defense, he hasn't this year and the stats prove it.

Shots under six seconds = transition offense

Can you please explain your definition of "Alfense" if it includes Clifford preaching for our guys to attack in transition? I'm pretty sure MKIA would 100% disagree with that analysis.

The fact that we shoot the fewest shots in transition offense (shots under 6 seconds) let me know that we are playing like systematized robots. Also, the fact that Clifford preach low turnovers and making the smart/simple passes also lead me on to believe that the players are playing with a leash beyond doubt. Just because Clifford is instructing them to 'push' the ball up the floor, that doesn't mean that he's telling them to attack. Every coach want his team to get the ball across half court as fast as possible so that they can have more time to get into their offense, especially considering Bonnell's favorite peeve about shot clock violations

How many transition 3s have we attempted this year. I realized the other day that I couldn't remember a single instance of someone making a transition 3 and I honestly couldn't even remember someone attempting one. I'm sure we've hit a few that I just don't remember but it seems like there is no way we aren't last in the league in transition 3s. I wouldn't be surprised if it was by a pretty big margin.

Roberts and Hairston have attempted (and made) some.

I wonder if it was higher before he became the starter the last few games. His shooting % has dropped since being inserted in with our most dysfunctional unit.

This confirms what we've all seen with the eye test but Lance has assisted Biz on 8 makes this year. Kemba only account for 2.
    Henderson, Gerald 1
    Neal, Gary 1
    Pargo, Jannero 1
    Roberts, Brian 2
    Stephenson, Lance 8
    Walker, Kemba 2
    Williams, Marvin 2

I wondered about Zeller. Kemba beats out Lance here. 22 to 18.
    Henderson, Gerald 4
    Jefferson, Al 1
    Kidd-Gilchrist, Michael 1
    Neal, Gary 5
    Roberts, Brian 13
    Stephenson, Lance 18
    Walker, Kemba 22
