Who are they kidding?

Seriously!!

Like holding Kaminsky out of trade negotiations has been the thing preventing us from being able to trade Bats!!

Frank and Batum for Chandler Parsons? Im not even sure if Parsons can play but maybe his contract is shorter?

at this point, I would do it so that Miles and Bacon are forced into consistent minutes. I don't really even care about the defense we lose with Batum getting traded for a literal zero. Parsons would be a good waive and stretch candidate too.

"Hornets desperate to move Nic Batum, will include Frank Kaminsky in trade"

Has got to be one of the most hilarious and depressing headlines ever.

Is there some contract worse out there (but with more production) that would equal Frank + Batun? That’s the only way this makes sense....

This is the best answer on the post:

"This basically is the equivalent of seeing something from last summer along the lines of “Thunder desperate to move Carmelo Anthony, Will include Kyle Singler.”

helping MEM get rid of both their disgruntled
yes Chandler's is one yr shorter (and Casspi expiring)

ps doesn't soothe any that Miam's recent surge to leapfrog us in the standings has been led by Justice Winslow playing de facto point guard (in Dragic's injury absence) and suddenly shooting nearly 40% from 3

Frank is going to go to another team and become a key rotational player like Mirotic. I used to view them as similar players and their stats were comparable up until Mirotic got punched in the face and took his game to another level upon his return before being traded to the Pelicans.

It’s quite a surprising turnaround. I laughed when Miami decided to start him at PG because I didn’t believe he was remotely capable. I thought the thesis of making Winslow their starting PG revolved around him solely defending the opposing PG and nothing more.

But he’s averaging 13 points, 5 assist, and 5 rebounds in over 20 games as the starter.

Where’s the guy that used to give us the geometric analytical breakdowns of how Frank improved the team whenever he was on the floor no matter how bad he was shooting or defending? I would love to have an welcoming exchange with that guy right about now.

Has to. Saves MJ money and gives Frank a chance to sign elsewhere. There’s a market for a 7fter that can make 3s and has averaged double figures in points the last 2 seasons. Which is why I’m so disappointed in Kupchak. If he couldn’t find a buyer for Frank than there’s no way he could sell Biz, Cody, MKG, or Batum to a team. Couldn’t get no Alec Burks or nothing.

I just realized we tried to use Frank as a sweetener in a Nic trade and now we're about to buy him out.

Shoulda took those 14 draft picks from the celtics.

Then Frank posted these Instagram stories during the last few hours of the trade deadline.

Is he becoming a locker room problem?

I wonder if these tweets by Biz and Willy have something to do with the Kaminsky situation.

Frank and his family are acting a little ridiculous.

I don't think Frank is honestly enough of a presence to even be a distraction, but I totally understand why his family members and extended family, a la the Wisconsin media, want him bought out or dealt. He's not gonna play here and I get that he wants a shot, but he's really gonna have to step up his game to get a legit shot elsewhere.
