Also talk Wolves working on new deal for Randle.
Naz backs up Randle/Gobert.
Wolves running it back minus NAW.

Re: Around the NBA 13
People are clowning on Chicago but there is a very real chance Lonzo doesn't actually have any value because of his health situation. He only played 35 games last year after missing 2.5 years. Hes only had one season where he play 60+ games. He also shot 36% from the field in the 35 games he played last year.
I would not have traded Okogie for him straight up if I was the Hornets. Probably not Green either. I'm a big fan of Lonzo too and was really hoping hed end up on Charlotte. I would have traded Martin for him last year because Martin has health issues as well and just isn't as good. I really thought he was going to go to free agency and sign with Charlotte and was surprised when the Bulls extended him.

Ace’s mistake was hiring someone outside the clique. He didn’t actually do anything particularly extraordinary, just paying the price for not letting the right guys get their cut
Hornets will pay the price in the end

hopefully not a hot take: Rich Paul is toxic and him/his contemporaries have a big part in why I hate how the modern NBA is ran

Re: Around the NBA 13
I told you Rich Paul is the best agent in basketball. It's crazy how much power he has around the league.
For a guy who LeBron hired off the street with no experience he's done a great job of building his resume.

Not a hot take. Power agents will only become more powerful if left unchecked. Imagine a team like charlitre defying klutch, what's that ripple effect? It's great for players and high profile markets. Really bad for teams like charlotte.SWedd523 wrote:Braggins wrote:I'm very curious specifically how agents accomplish this kind of stuff.

Beasley has always been some questionable decisions. Hadn't heard much about his off Court b******* in several years but

Re: Around the NBA 13
Im seriously curious as to what the hell Rich Paul is saying to these teams when he calls them up to get them to pass on someone so he can engineer them to a team later in the draft? Why would any front office not just tell him to **** off?
Are the Hornets drafting the players they do because they are getting black balled by agents? Was Kon basically the only top prospect that wanted to play for Charlotte...

I'm very intrigued by how much confidence Portland has in Yang Hansen.

It is an interesting thought exercise that nobody with the answers would ever be willing to say. Makes you consider the third order effects of being a continuously poorly run tanking bottom feeder.
I revert to my previous statement that this shadow government style modern NBA is a train just waiting to crash.

NO! And NO to Batum, and NO to any other former Hornet I can think of.

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Guess Utah is tired of waiting for plus value trades and they're just shipping guys out however they can now
