pg: kemba / sessions / pargo
sg: henderson / gordon
sf: mkg / dunleavy / taylor
pf: zeller / mcroberts
c: biyombo / haywood

we are still painfully thin up front though. need to add a 3rd center for sure.

I think McBob starts over Zeller though.

You're crazy if you think McBob starts over Zeller. McBob might start over Biyombo, but not Zeller.

I'm not convinced McBob will stay, he might get some offers after looking like a solid role player for us

thats fine. mcbug has earned that right. zeller can be first big off the bench next year, or at least until all-star break. he'll still get 25+ mins a night.

MKG is gonna have some really pretty rebounding numbers playing next in this front court. 2010 crash like playing with boris and ratliff/nazr

i remember watching a lot of games in the playoffs thinking that mcroberts would look good on that teams bench and be a better option that what they had.

Zeller better be starting if we were this much sold on him. I can't wait to see him in summer league even though I'm not thrilled about the pick. At least I can admit that I think he'll be a good player but I wanted a potential star. As far as the Tom Chambers comparisons I sure hope Zeller is a better rebounder.

McRoberts general uselessness without the ball hinders his impact on actual good teams

exactly what I was thinking, his smart passing would be perfect on a star team

I think McBob is a good goal for Zeller.

His speed, quickness, combination of size and skill will work well in transition. He sets excellent screens and knows how to play P&R. As he increases his shooting range he will help spread the floor, and create matchup issues on slower 4's outside, while powering up on smaller bigs. Unlike Hyphen, Zeller is ready to contribute offensively right now. Hopefully MKG will somehow develop a decent jumper to pair with a dribble drive, which would compliment Zeller's game.

Sounds like you are suggesting we start to build around Zeller Bass?

I think he could be an important part of the mix, but not THE MAN. We still need to find that guy who can flat-out score lights out most nights, and become our star. No one like that in this draft. My hope is Zeller becomes as important to this team as Kemba is now. Find an all-star SG, hopefully a big 5 to support rebounding, defense and post scoring, and we've got something.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I'm sure Zeller has better goals than being Josh McRoberts.

This, but I've came down from my pessimistic hangover following the disappointment of them drafting Cody Zeller over Nerlens Noel. Similar to if Anthony Bennett would've been available, Charlotte will get an outlook on how good their team could be with a quality shooting frontcourt player. I have yet to see Zeller shoot with range in actual games, but obviously Cho believes in it, and he's seen more than I have

I am finally coming around to it, this Grizzlies scout compares him to LaMarcus Aldridge but says it may take him 5 years to get there.

Man the stun of leaving Noel on the board after he fell in our laps is still hurting though, what a punch in the gut.

Picking Cody was a vote of confidence for Bismack.

Nah, I'm done with Cho. Good at trades but sucks at drafting. Passed on Drummond last year and now both Noel and McLemore fall into your lap? He can go back to teaching tennis.

At least we have our version of Kurt Rambis. Hopefully we can draft the next George Zidek next year while passing up on Wiggins, Randle, and Parker.
