if we wanted to trade for Wiggins we would have to trade the whole farm and then some, people will be blinded by the hype thinking he is the next LBJ

My Top 10 Picks by record so far ( order via Tankathon)

1-Bucks-Parker they need a scorer and Jesus a Mormon Jesus
2-Magic-Embiid good duo with Vuc
3-76ers-Wiggins play SG with Evan at SF or the other way around (if they keep ET)
4-Boston-Randle dont really need a PF but you cant leave him on the board
5-Utah-Exum to play SG with Burke at PG
6-Cleveland-Smart to play SG....doesn't make sense really... but its Cleveland
7-Sacremento-Aaron Gordon why? dont know its the Kings thats why
8-Lakers-WCS they can afford a high potential project they're the Lakers and they need a C
9-Horncats-Gary Harris to play SG why because Gerald sucks and they need shooting
10-ATL via Brooklyn-Noah Vonleh to play PF, Paul can play SF

Rich Cho has already found his guy and nothing will change his opinion. Its probably Doug Mcdermont

I believe Ford said Cho really likes Exum whereas MJ is a Wiggins guy. Of course they both will likely be out of reach (and then there's the whole possibility of Ford just blowing smoke...).

We are currently slotted in at #9,#16 and #27 (+#39)

MIL. 7-30
ORL. 10-28
PHI. 12-25
BOS. 13-26
CLE. 13-24
CHA. 15-23

BRK. 15-22
NYK. 15-22
DET. 16-22

We're firmly in the tank and playoff race, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Boston and Cleveland passed us and Boston has lost 9 straight.

Not to mention Sacto and possibly LA out West if we tank (which we are)

It's good to see Brooklyn start to make some sort of a push. I really do not want Atlanta to get a good pick out of them. Knowing our luck, Brooklyn will miss the playoffs and win the lottery.

I think the best we can finish (luck not considered) is #7, #9 and #25.

I would love to win and get #1, #9 and 25.

Jabari Parker
Zach Lavine

Those 2 work best with our roster imo. I think Parker compliments MKG and Zeller while Lavine compliments Kemba and Hendo.

Rondo may return Friday. So Boston may definitely pass us.

It wouldn't be ideal for the Bobcats to bring in 3 rookies (or 4 if you include the 2nd rounder) in excess with the young players they already have that are still learning how to be quality professionals (i.e. Kemba Walker, Bismack Biyombo, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Jeff Taylor, Cody Zeller). If they know that they are going to be tanking and/or concluding this season as a developmental exercise then it would be wise to trade at least the Portland pick attached to one of Henderson or Sessions to bring in a solid veteran that'll fulfill a need (perimeter shooting wing or starting caliber PF)

Especially since packaging the POR pick with the DET pick won't move the team up to a different tier of the draft.

We'll see if Cho has the brass to pull off a meaningful trade before the draft. If not, he'll have to make one on draft day. There's no way Charlotte is bringing in 3-4 rookies next season without getting rid of at least 2 of their current young players. It's just not sensible or logical

I can almost guarantee that if we get three first round picks, which it looks like we will, that we will trade one or probably two of them for an established player. Last year Rich Cho was only going to bring in one rookie even if we got the Portland pick. This year shouldn't be any different, and our team doesn't need too many more projects. I'd like to add James Young or Lavine (I'm not as high on Gary Harris) and an established power forward, like Kenneth Farried whose on the market, or I'd love to get lucky and draft one of Randle or Embiid and then trade for an established wing shooter, like Afflalo

I dont really care for moving up in the draft, we probably wont be able to be honest because of those "cant miss" superstars at the top, if anything we trade POR and DET picks for a scorer or we keep 2 of the picks (ours and DET) and trade away the POR pick and the 2nd rounder for a decent role player like Jordan Hamilton if we can walk away from this draft with a top 10 pick, a borderline lotto pick and a Jordan Hamilton type player that would be a good day, we have a lot of FA's (Gordon,Sess,Tolly,Adrien,Pargo and McBob) so we have plenty of roster spots for rookies so i can see us keeping all 3 of them because of that

We absolutely need to do something, deciding whether we're going for the playoffs or tanking. There's no point being an 8th or 7th seed. A successful trade deadline is one that decisively makes us a top 6 team in the East or a bottom 5 team in the East. One way or another we HAVE to decide on a direction and soon. I'm less pro-tank than I was about three games ago, but less sold on this team than I was a few weeks ago. I have a bad feeling we'll be hanging around the 8th/9th seed the rest of the year if we don't make a move of some sort.
