Here are some money quotes from Gary Payton and the main reason why I can't stand how Lebron is ever compared to Michael Jordan.

"Basically everything. It's no defense, it's just run and gun. To me, there's only three point guards in the NBA that impress me; I got Chris Paul, Rondo, and another kid that I like a lot and I forgot his name right now. Oh, and Tony Parker. That's only three NBA players in there.

There's too much touch fouls. Every time you touch and they stay on the free throw line. That's no way to watch basketball. When we were playing, it was rough and tough. Even superstars like me fouled out a lot. That's because they let people play, and if you do something then you call it. But nowadays it's not like that and this is the era.

This is what kids want to see. You see these Playstations, they scoring 50 and 60 with one player, that's what they want to see on TV and I don't go with that. My era, give me one-on-one with somebody and stop him and right now you can't do that with a player because if you touch him he's going to the foul line and you're fouling out. Let him be rough. If he got an opportunity to go at you in the offensive end, let me go at him on the defensive end and rough him up. So that's the way I like basketball and I don't think it's like that.

The Glove used to be one of my favorite players with the Sonics and I feel what he's trying to say but he just sound bitter. The only thing soft about today's NBA is the competitive nature of it where stars want to intentionally team up to win easily instead of feeling like they can beat each other no matter what. I understand doing it when you're on your last leg but players in their prime shouldn't.

The difference between Jordan and Lebron to me is when Jordan couldn't beat the Pistons because they were roughing him up he went in the gym and got stronger and more physically built to handle what they were gonna try to do to him and came back to beat them while LeBron being the sore loser he is decided to join powers with two of next best players to him at the time to try to win without hardships when he couldn't beat the Celtics.

Reggie Jackson is trash. I like how the media would make you believe that he's better than Kemba.

He isn't full-time starting material. Great when he backs up RW, but he isn't filling RW's shoes. No way.

And Bledsoe couldn't fill Paul's shoes, but he's turned out OK to say the least.
Humble yourself.

BTW Quincy Miller is now starting for DEN. Out of nowhere. Be prepared, we're about to start to be bombarded with Paul George comparisons.

1 loss down for OKC. A couple more before they might get desperate. With Houston, Golden State, Sacramento, Portland, & San Antonio up next, I can't see them winning more than 1 out of their next 5

This is pretty. I know Kemba has done this kind of split a couple of times. I hope somebody make a GIF of it.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist learned how to be a elite defender from having to mask Kyrie Irving's defensive deficiencies as high school teammates. I'm watching this Cavaliers-Lakers game right now to see how Luol Deng's doing, and it appears that Irving save all of his energy for the offensive end of the floor

Deng is gonna end up killing Irving and proably half the CLE team in the process, they are almost the opposite of what CHI is pretty sure Deng will go insane eventually

Fortunately for Luol Deng, he's a free agent soon. I applaud the Bulls brass to move on though because they needed to

He's averaging 12 pts, 4 ast, and 3 turnovers as the starter without Westbrook.

MKG was the saving grace of that St. Patrick's team with Kyrie. Kyrie scored the points while MKG played the defense.

I wonder if that 3rd team involved with the draft pick is Charlotte for a PF (i.e. Jared Sullinger) with the Portland 1st rounder

You mean to tell me that the Celtics can turn Toney Douglas into a 1st rounder but Cho couldn't turn Hendo into one? WTF Cho. I'll give him credit for the Maggette-Gordon deal tho but damn.

I don't know how to feel about this, because I think we'll be a playoff team next year, but if not, all the glory
