new starting lineup

Kemba ( we trade for FELTON )
pj
williams
Hans
Al

A guy can dream can't he lol.

I like this pickup for us tho. Tyler brings it everynight as far as energy goes and that could help get the crowd going for homegames or turn that game around thats close.

These are who I want with our picks in order

THEM - Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen

UNCNYC - Arthur Agee, William Gates

We need to trade for Tyler Zeller or John Henson to complete the grouping. I'd actually be a huge fan of trading for Henson, but I don't think there's any way we could pull it off without giving up too much.

Watched the signing presser with Cho and then Cliff's interview afterwards...this is all about signing someone that can be plugged in for spot minutes to bring some energy. Seems like all parties involve recognize that he's not going to have a more significant role than that.

This actually might extend Tyler's career. Tough-guy, dirty-work, end-of-bench big for hire! He could do worse than to re-define himself this way. Makes him a perpetual trade candidate, but his "marketabilities" would translate to any team.

I'm just hoping this doesn't take away too many minutes from Cody and Frank

Bobby Marks saying it's a minimum signing. Though he's not typically one to break news.

If he's right we'll still have the Full MLE but with no roster room. In theory we can exceed 15 players (Detroit has 18) but we'll have to cut down by the season.

In reading the comments here, it appears most fans are not very familiar with Tyler Hansbrough. So here are three articles to get you started.

http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/hard-foul-the-tyler-hansbrough-story/

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/tyler-the-enrager-the-raptors-forward-plays-the-heel/

http://probballreport.com/raptors-need-tyler-hansbroughs-toughness-once-again/

Some seem surprised that Hansbrough was signed at all, calling him a failure, doomed to be glued to the end of the bench. Just check out the advanced and traditional on/off stats for last years Toronto Raptors:

http://stats.nba.com/team/#!/1610612761/onoffcourt/advanced/?sort=NET_RATING&dir=1

http://stats.nba.com/team/#!/1610612761/onoffcourt/?sort=PLUS_MINUS&dir=1

When the guy pulls down seventeen rebounds in one game, he is just doing whatever he can to win and help the team, on either end of the court.

I think literally every Hornets fan in North Carolina and likely the US is familiar with Hansbrough.

If Tyler plays tonight, it's not going to be pretty. He was whacked hard preventing a dunk attempt on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the official Hornets preview mentions that Frank Kaminsky and Doug McDermott both won the Naismith Award. As "every Hornets fan in North Carolina and likely the US" knows, Hansbrough won the award in 2008. But apparently, not the Hornets.

Do you realize that Hamsbrough went to UNC? Do you understand how big a deal college basketball is in the state of North Carolina? I'm just saying, people in Charlotte know who Hansbrough is.

I am a UNC alumnus and have followed Hansbrough's career since he was a freshman. Yes, I have been to the Duke-Carolina game. So why does the writer for Hornets.Com not know the first thing about him? How many fans know about the two horrible coaches he played under in the NBA, and the one green one?

I offered a few items about his NBA career, and all you can say is, "We know all that."

To be fair, you started your post with the statement that "In reading the comments here, it appears most fans are not very familiar with Tyler Hansbrough." That was what I was responding to - pretty much every basketball fan in the state of North Carolina is familiar with him.

He was being sarcastic as a response to stuff mentioned above. BlackoutBuzz is the resident cap expert. He knows the ins and out of this roster, probably better than Cho.

Ha! Sorry man, just making a joke about it since we're all very aware of Tyler.

I hope euphorbus sticks around, would be cool to have one random new fan because of Hansbrough amongst the crowd of Lin fans.

The Tyler Hansbrough Watch is on. Crowds are milling around the Time Warner Cable Arena, wondering if Hansbrough will play? Will the Hornets ever give a hard foul again, or merely buzz angrily as opposing guards do the hokey-pokey in the lane? When will the team wake up from its third-quarter slumbers?
