People say Miles can't be a small-ball four yet Bell played center for the Warriors.

Welcome to Charlotte - Miles Bridges

Anyone who doesn't think Bridges can play small-ball four look closely at the pic in this thread of him and Larry Johnson (LJ is standing straight up and Miles is leaning and they are still very close in height). Did LJ shrink?!?

I won’t rule it out against my better judgment but a Jordan Bell clone he is not

I am not saying he can't play the small ball 4. I actually think the 4 will be the best position to utilize him at. I am not against him as a player or pick, but I am against making comparisons that don't make any sense.

Miles was measured at 6'5 .25 without shoes. Bell was measured at 6'7 without shoes. Bell also has slightly over 2 inches on him with his wingspan.

The two also don't compare in any form or fashion on the court, so either way, comparing their physical attributes is not reasonable

Miles is physically closer to MJ than Bell. Hope he can defend 2-3 positions but holy hyperbole. In the next page we’ll read about how he can also play PG.

Kemba is also physically similar to Magic Johnson.

I’m curious as to why you only ask me.

Because between your perpetual negativity and the old SNL reference I really have no idea.

My negativity is hardly perpetual. That’s become something that’s fairly recent, as you should recall since I so vehemently defended Monk for so long (and still will). For years, I was one of the more optimistic posters on here. You’re welcome to go back and look if you like.

And thanks to my parents always watching it, I was a big SNL fan as a kid. That part of the show is before my time but I watched it a bunch when it was still pretty good. I scarcely follow it now though.

Cool. By perpetual, I meant you come across as negative and critical about every single topic related to the team, not necessarily since you ever have posted here but certainly at least this off-season. Which is fine I guess, but we super get that you hate everything about the team.
