Why do I feel like you actually believe this haha. Please tell me you are joking or we need to have a conversation about volume shooting vs percentages.

Any interest in Josh Hart?

Plumlee works straight up for him. Could also throw in McDaniels if that isn't enough

Think I’ve figured out why we almost never hear of anything via Hornets in advance of trade deadlines.

Mitch is meditating. “Hmmm, mmmm, mmmmmm….” (cell rings)….goes to voice mail.”hey it’s Kupchak, leave a message with your trade offers, or just let me know how you’re doing these days. I’ll call back sometime when I’m not chilling!”
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Amcoolio off somewhere throwing rocks at cars since we didn't get to trade Rozier, Hayward, PJ, Plumlee, Oubre and DSJ for Westbrook and a 2nd rounder.

Thybulles offence wasn’t terrible for the Aussie side, he was a great team player, was encouraged to shoot when open and me made some important shots

Huh? I didn't say the entire roster.

It depends on what picks are added.

I mean, I absolutely would have done Rozier/Washington/Oubre for Westbrook and a unprotected 1st (if that's what it turns out to be), which is better for the Lakers, but the Lakers are embarrassing if they give up any first for that trade

He should have been a target years ago when he was playing from the bench in NO. Talked about him here back in time - when he was coming from the bench in no - but that ship has sailed. I doubt he would be traded for cheap and he has a PO next season which he wont probably pick.

The fit would be great obviously.

Tate being in trade rumors is interesting. The bad side of it means Eason is a keeper for Houston (no sh*t, i know) but the good one is that he could be a good bet here. Supposed to be decent defensively and he will be cheap (should).

Dream wing player would be Herb Jones though. If he could be added for the Denver pick or maybe for McD and a 2nd rounder, that would be a good move (because of the fit 'on the paper').

Best thing to do with Josh Hart is to go after him in free agency. It Wouldnt it make sense to give up an asset for a rental knowing he's going to opt out of that contract. I love him as a fit next to lamelo.

I'm half joking hence the winky face. However, I think a lot of the difference is about confidence and mentality than it is about actual skill. There's nothing Oubre really does that Thybulle couldn't really do offensively skill wise. Oubre lives with a permanent green light in his head. That alone can be a skill in the right situation, something some players just don't have in them (see Ben Simmon for example. Simmons has the skill set to shoot 19 times a game and average 20 points a game, but he'll never have them mentality to do that).

If we somehow refresh Bouk and Kai with Wiseman and Moody by giving up say Terry or Hayward, then sign me up.

Looks like none of 'em are going to be any good, but I'd give it a shot just for the sake of it

Lakers got Russell, Beasley, and Vanderbilt, for a 1st and a 2nd. Thats better than Rozier/Plumlee/Oubre or Rozier/Hayward. As long as you don't include PJ, Martin, or McDaniels, I've always said a single 1st from LA would have been reasonable for a package of the Hornets vets.

Id say this deal probably sets the market lower than the Hornets would ever consider for Rozier. I would not be surprised if they wanted multiple 1sts for him.

Hopefully they still move Plumlee. I don't care if they get anything out of Oubre as long as they don't resign him under any circumstance.

Another loss in the books, it's time for Mitch to wake up from his nap and get something done.

At this point, I’m more interested in a new front office than a trade. I’m soured on Mitch, dude is a dinosaur and holds onto his players like a fantasy GM. You gotta shake this roster up my guy.

We still have time to win 25 in a row and get back into the play-in race
