I grew up in NC so I know this is blasphemy, but mustard based BBQ sauce is superior to vinegar based BBQ sauce. So give me some Dijon mustard.

Spoiler:
I love both though so I'm not a total traitor.

Yep Dijon is going to be a dipping mustard, at best here. Maybe a mix in for a larger dressing, tuna salad, a role player of some sort. But if he finds his role, and breaks out, maybe he can be a second option dip on a charcuterie or with some salmon. Sky is the limit

Ha Ha! The mustard based sauce is SC stuff. I’m a foothills NC boy, so we had western style. Then I traveled some and discovered the amazing blend of vinegar and sweet sauce known as Lexington BBQ. The vinegar based sauces were more common where I lived as an adult near Cabarrus County. Love BBQ…but back to Hornets…

I am done with my shock and temper tantrums. Feel a tad better about Salaun…accepting he has a LOT of work to do, but expect this coaching staff to get it done. Kid has to keep putting muscle on, which he’s been doing, working on his shooting, IQ, footwork, etc. his future should be at the 4, as he’s not a super spring wing by nature. IF he can pull this off, Salaun can be a very good compliment to our lineup.

And I predict KJ Simpson will shock and surprise everyone with his play.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

How can you watch his highlights and think this dude is a 3yr project...

Dude moves well for a stretch pf, he has shown consistent ability to hit the catch n shoot 3 and has pretty good athleticism. This team lacks talent especially at his position. There is no reason why he should be sitting 3 years on this team. We are not some contender. He can play right away Melo/Miller/Bridges will get him open shots. Yall can miss me with the 3yr project talk. This kid has talent as a stretch pf and he can definitely play right away on a young team. That's how you develop your skills!

What exactly makes him a project other than his age?

Please do let me know how far you get before bursting out laughing. For me it was about 2:45.

He looks particularly clueless in that game on both ends. Gets lost ball watching and helping and on navigating screens and pushed out of position by smart offensive players. He also got away with a travel or two after catching the ball and not establishing a pivot foot. He has this weird jump to the left he likes to do after catching the ball too that looks like a bad habit getting caught in three minds whether to pass, shoot or dribble.

No left hand at all either when finishing an open layup. I'm not feeling too good about this pick.

As athletic as he is and despite his motor, none of it matters with JT Thor because he's a space cadet on both ends. Just oblivious. He loses track constantly.

These descriptions are terrifying.

I mean the scouting report was pretty clear that he improved rapidly as the year went on, which is why he also shot up draft boards

This is 3 months later and you can tell he's much less SERIOUSLY? and playing with feel

It's an uneasy pick and I get why people are miffed, I still would have taken Buzelis becuase he shows more stuff with the ball in his hands, but maybe Peterson knows whats he doing...hopefully

He needs to learn to finish with his left hand, very right handed
