Kevin Love sure would look nice in a Charlotte uniform..

Lakers are looking for a PG. I wonder how desperate and/or what they would be willing to give up for Sessions? Granted Sessions would hate the organization if we sent him back there.

Re: The Trade Thread
Lakers would like him back, he was phenomenal for the Laker bench. Hill is not fitting in here not because he plays poorly, not even close. He just doesn't get playing time.

Jordan Hill got 31 minutes on Sunday night and put up 17/9/4.
He is now at 6.3/5.4/.9 in 15.5 mpg.
Which is 14.6/12.5/2.1 per 36.
In his Lakers career, he is putting up 13/10.7/2.7 in 32 mpg in all games where he has gotten at least 30 minutes.
That is 14.6/12/3 per 36.
In his entire career, he is putting up 12.7/9.5/1.7 in 32 mpg in all games where he has gotten at least 30 minutes.
That is 14.3/10.7/1.9 per 36.
That is still an incredibly small sample size, but it leads me to believe that his per 36 #'s are a very accurate indication of the numbers that he would put up given more minutes. He will be a 12/10/2 big man when he gets 30+ mpg. That won't make him a star, but he will be a good starter for many years to come, but good luck with Mullens and his 3 pointers.
Actually he fits next to Mullens. I spoke about that fit earlier as one of the better ones for Charlotte.

Diop for gooden + lottery protected 1st. Bucks are the 8th seed to me this year. Cavs will tank, raps and wiz are to far behind us and the magic aren't that good and the pistons might put upa fight but I think bucks win a few more games.

Re: The Trade Thread
The way Walker has been playing this year I wouldn't give him to Utah straight up for Favors, let alone including Henderson and picks.
The point I was making was that the Raptors value Favors to much. We would have to give up to much. That is why I said, so let's forget about Favors.

So would DWade, Lebron, and Chris Paul. What other near impossibilities can we dream about?

Really not THAT impossible since Love has almost done everything but ask for a trade. Granted we would have to give up too much.

As it stands right now, I wouldn't trade Kemba for Favors straight up and Burks is nowhere good enough return for Henderson.JT2006 wrote:Kemba and Henderson for Favors and Berks? All 4 players clearly have talent, and in terms or production we're giving up more but perhaps gaining more in potential.

Trading Kemba is a big no....

He had us as the 3rd team in a Gasol trade. We get a bit of value but I still don't like it.

Any kind of deal we can strike up for:
- Jordan Hill to Charlotte
- Expirings plus a 2nd to Detroit
- Maxiell plus a pick to L.A.

Re: The Trade Thread
Sessions' minutes look to be on a downtrend, speaking from the outside looking in.
Duhon is non-guaranteed for next season. He's not a starter but definitely a solid veteran 15 mpg guy off the bench and a better shooter than Sessions so he could fulfill an off-guard role better if needed. If you wanted to save money this season and open up more cap space for 2013 you could take him and waive him after the season ends. Earl Clark and Daris Johnson-Odom could be added as cheap young prospects.

So basically Kemba for Kanter? Not something I'm interested in. Especially since our PG rotation would be Sessions then..... a rookie SF
No guarantee Jefferson stays, and even if he does we'd have to offer him an extension so I'd rather bid on him in FA and keep Kemba.

duhon is really bad. he's a third string point guard on his best days, don't try to pull wool over a bobcat's eyes

I was wondering how long it would take. Didn't take two months. As soon as a young bobcat starts playing half way decent here come the trade offers. Some people really seem to think that the Bobcats are the nba's official farm team.

Re: The Trade Thread
Whats the incentive for any of the teams? Paul Milsap? Bobcats having a really deep frontcourt, but no PG depth. Gasol?
I don't get any of it. Why do the Jazz want Gasol? Have I missed something?
Char/Tor/LAL

Lakers- I think Andrea could flourish playing off of Dwight and Kobe. Calderon gives them depth at PG. Reggie Williams is just to make the money work. Dump Duhons' contract.
Raptors- Rid themselves of Linas' contract and get a talented big in Gasol. Pau could flourish outside of LA.
Bobcats- Linas Kleiza and Chris Duhon are talented players....Draft picks. The team would get draft picks for taking on these two. Duhon is quietly having a good 3rd PG type season. Hes also only guaranteed for $1.5 mil next year. Linas has never been anything special, but he used to be a good backup combo forward who could shoot a respectable 3. That alone is better then Warrick.

I don't even know who you could be mixing up those two for. Neither team is giving up future picks to us. The Lakers don't have any useful picks, and Toronto's just traded the #4 pick (calling it) for next season to the Thunder. They aren't giving up a pick any time soon.
