I for one would prefer to keep Kemba and move other players, like MKG. He’s a luxury for the team given his defense but lack of ability to consistently spread the floor.

Teague+Wiggins for Kemba+Batum definitely has merits... not a rebuilding package by any means, but it's interesting if the team wants to keep attempting to compete.

I have never been a fan of Wiggins, guy has no aggressiveness to use his athleticism and talent.

Yeah, Wiggins advanced stats are way worse than Batum's and Wiggins max contract starts next season. That could potentially be the worst contract in the NBA if he doesn't show any improvement from where he is now. Thus, there's no way I'd take on that contract and lose Kemba in the process.

Just look at this thing. It is scary as fk.

I haven't watched him enough to have an opinion but he does sound like he's almost in Travis Outlaw, Darius Miles territory of underwhelming.

If the Knicks made Frank Ntilikina available, but refused to take on any one additional from Charlotte besides Kemba Walker and refused to add a draft pick, do they have any chance of landing him?

Never happen. I think at a minimum it takes french frank + an unprotected 1st to net an all-start caliber PG in his prime like Kemba + there would need to be filler to make the trade work $$$ wise.

Draft pick would have to most definitely be involved. Preferably unprotected/

Plus, if CLT made a move with Kemba, my understanding is that it would be done with the primary purpose being moving bad deals. My gut is nothing happens with Kemba trade-wise.

Our FO is too stupid to keep Kemba, no matter how many good reasons there are for it. MJ is going to see some offers of guys with potential and take the gamble. It's just who he is, taking the gamble on potential alone is why we are in the position we're in now.
