I think some are underestimating the influence his energy, defense and mobility have on this team. He is definitely an influential part of the team.

Have we finally found a French player that doesn't suck balls?

x10000
we dont need more offense from our center with this starting unit. we need consistency, energy, rebounding, smart iq, hustle, dirty work...
Now what would be nice is if we had a change of pace center on the bench. Someone who could either stretch the floor if the offense got stagnant, create offense out of the high post or had a back to the basket game. Just a different wrinkle in games where nothing else is working. When the other four starters are healthy There's no need for a 5th guy looking for shots.

Hes so fluid and high energy out there I forget hes actually 6'10". Dont see a lot of guys that size moving that gracefully.

Espn box score says 7 offensive, 19 total, I don't know who counted wrong
Either way this is the perfect game to explain how JJJ is overrated. He goes for a lot of blocks and does not box out his man. JJJ with 4 reb in 33 min while Moose has 19 reb in 33 min.
Not to mention he is a ball stopper on offense in the post.

JJJ is a PF primarily, but can play 5 at times. They don't overlap. Its not JJJ vs Diabate, they would be starting together in the front court. I think they are a great fit actually. Moussa is a fantastic rebounder and JJJ's size at PF makes up for Diabates lack of size at C. JJJ is also a good 3pt shooter so he would maintain or improve the teams spacing.
JJJ is a DPotY level defender at PF. The Hornets are currently the best rebounding team in the league with 6'7" Miles Bridges at PF and he only averages like half a rebound more than JJJ. I don't think adding JJJ would kill their rebounding ability or anything and he would take their defense to a whole other level.

As an overall player though, Bridges is better than Just another guy Jackson.
Bridges gives you 3.5 ast and 1.4 turnovers. JJJ gives 2.2 ast and 2.6 turnovers.
Plus Bridges costs like 20 mil vs 60 mil and we get to keep all of our picks.

Not that it's a huge difference, but unfortunately we can no longer claims the top rebounding title, HOU has the top REB% and also the top ORB%. We're 4th in ORB%, 1st in DRB% and 2nd in REB%.

That'll change soon with Adams getting hurt. Their offensive rebounding percentage is about to plummet.

Yeah been saying for weeks that Kalkbrenner is a problem especially defensively on the drop coverage.
