I don't think we're able to do that, we would have to make the pick for NO first. They wouldn't do this anyway, if they get rid of CP3 they will be looking to start over so we would need to find a way for them to clear cap space (Diaw/Okafor?)

my two cents on this kemba/iverson comparison. ok, i get the comparison in the sense that people say kemba kinda plays like iverson, a very poor man's iverson. they are both undersized sgs who thrive on breakdown defenders off the dribble and getting into the paint. maybe kemba can be 60% of what iverson was, which would be a decent player. but thats about as close as that comparison gets. for anyone who was not able to watch iverson when he was in college, lemme just tell you, that dude had the wow factor. the first time i saw him i said "HOLY FREAKING ****" that dude is going to be a freaking monster in the NBA. you knew the second you saw him play at georgetown that he was as superstar. kemba, while being impressive at times has never come close to making me go "wow".

AI had the quickness to go along with the athleticism. At his size he would dunk over centers easily. Kemba doesn't have anywhere near that athleticism.

Fixed that for yah!

I'm pretty torn on Biyombo. He reminds me of a poor man's blend of Varejao and Nene when they entered the league.

Charlotte Trades: #9, Matt Caroll

Chicago Trades: #28, Charlotte #1 2012, Chicago #1 2012

I would really love to move up in a position to draft Burks and Charlotte's pick probably holds more value to Charlotte than anyone. I'm not opposed to adding players into that deal either, just trying to see how far that package is.

I really can't see that happening.

I think we would do a trade in which we give Jax to the Bulls (especially if they lose the conf finals to the Heat) and get future picks and the Cavs TPE back in return. The only question is what the Bulls has to offer for the Cavs.

Carroll's contract is not that big of a deal by now (he only has 2years left [3,9M, 3,5M], a team with some cap space will absorb his contract for a 2nd rounder and for some money), so unloading it does not worth the 9th pick (maybe our 19th pick would worth it). And getting back our 2012 pick doesnt mean too much at the moment since its protected well. I think it would be a 15-16th pick for the Bulls in the worst case scenario.

If Kemba was there at #9 I would happily draft him.......................and then turn around and trade him to another team that was in love with him for a better prospect or a 2012 pick.

I'd be "ok" with Knight and keeping him - but that would have more to do with his size, length, defense and considerable upside more than his ability to actually run the point right now.

Kemba needs to go to a team like the Hawks or the Heat or the Wolves or the Blazers IMO.

Slam, I think you are dead right on Kemba. If he is there, take him. Someone will want him bad enough to trade us their later 2011 1st and we can quite likely get their 2012 pick. Makes is well worth it. But if we kept him, I would not cry about it.

i think we would be in a good position with both kemba and brandon. they would be good on our team, they would be safe picks in the 9th spot. and if someone wants kemba badly enough to give us a later pick in this draft and a future pick, than it would be golden.

i would stick to knight. i think if everything pans out for him, he could be a great pg. and i think if knight would show progress near the trade deadline, than we could trade diaw+dj.

Of course it all comes down to where you are picking them too. Eg: I don't really want Tobias Harris at #9 or #19, but at #39 he might not be a bad pick.

This is a fun draft for me because there are no kids that I am totally crushing on and no kids I 100% hate!

Like your Want list, and would not remove anyone, but would add (see below). Would take Valanciunas and Moni off the Do Not Want and put them on the Indifferent list. Take Kemba, Vesely, Knight and Brooks off the Indifferent and put them on the Want list.

Wow! Seems Tristan and the Twins get no love from Bobcat fans. Lord help the FO if one of them go to us at #9. There will be a revolt of epic proportions!

this pretty much guarantees our first pick will be tristan and our second pick will be twin2.

Reggie Jackson- Have you seen his shooting percentages?

If this is what you're talking bout:

08-09 - .440 FG%, 68 FT%, 27 3PT%
09-10 - .430 FG%, 73 FT%, 29 3PT%
10-11 - .503 FG%, 80 FT%, 42 3PT%

then yes i have.
