Gessh, Dunlap only sleeps 3-4 hours a night? I could never do that on the regular.

Dunlap said he believes this team’s two point guards, rookie Kemba Walker and restricted free agent D.J. Augustin, are well suited to a more running style. In his interviews with Higgins and Cho, Dunlap advocated running more “drag screens’’ – ball screens early in an offensive possession – to free up the point guards to get to the rim.

Those “drag screen’’ plays were central to offenses that showcased Steve Nash in Phoenix and Chris Paul in New Orleans. Dunlap said his goal is to make sure a ballhandler is attacking the rim in the first eight or so seconds of every possession.

kemba is going to look like a completely different player if dunlap is true to his word. silas did kemba no favors last year. kemba needs to be in serious attack mode every minute he is on the floor.

i am really really excited about dunlap.

Swagged out Kemba will return

i like this pic. it looks like he is screaming "ARRRRRRRRR" like a pirate, or perhaps growling at one of his players for screwing up a rotation.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell
Pace of workout changed dramatically when Dunlap jumped in: Full-court 3-on-3. Barnes called it a "track meet" vs other workouts

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell
Biyombo, Mullins, Carroll and Higgins in gym. Dunlap coaching #Bobcats like it's mid-training camp already.

I'm already pumped up for the 2012-13 season!

I'm not surprised by the energy he is showing early on, anyone can show that much energy and be that aggressive with their job during this time. It's during the middle of the season and when the team is 6-35 is when we need to see how he is.

So we're just gonna ignore this personal attack? You realize you're on my ignore list right? So I don't give a flying F*CK what you say or think. But you're still on my dick even after I ignored you wtf.... Only reason I saw this post is because I was lurking offline. You need to take a chill pill and stop getting so emotional off a sports message board. I don't take it as life or death as you obviously. Basketball is a game and should be treated as such.

On topic: good to see Dunlap running our players so much already

He seems pretty sober and collected. But you're right, we'll see how he does halfway into the season.

EDIT: ^Also ranting, hateful posts like that.

love that Biz is in the gym every day. if Dunlap can't turn Biz into a star, at least we can all be sure it wasn't from lack of work...

I think with all the draft excitement this year people have forgotten a little bit about biz. I think he'd be a lottery pick if he came out this year. He did get a triple double against Anthony Davis at the Nike Hoop Summit, and he did post a double double on Dwight, and he has had some flashes of brilliance. We all know he's got high potential, I just think a lot of us haven't thought about it because we're drooling/fighting over the guys in the draft this year. Whoever we draft, we definitely won't be lacking for potential, that much is sure.

I haven't forgotten, I freakin love Biz. Looks like he might have added a bit of muscle in the new jersey photos too imo.

I wonder if Dunlap is gonna run our summer league team

It'll be Dunlap, Silas, or whoever the plan to hire for their staff on the bench I guess. It's a good question really. He might want to, to acquaint him with so many of our young guys. I have to imagine Kemba will be there.

‪#Bobcats‬' Dunlap say he's "inclined" to coach summer league games, rather than have an assistant do it.

I like it a lot actually. I watched the summer league games last year. Now we'll get to see our youth, our coaching, and a bunch of random euros all at once.
