How does that happen? We couldn’t have traded Frank for him? Ugh

Us not doing due diligence maybe.

Kaminsky getting traded to the Lakers (or another contender) and showing that he’s just as good as if not better than Nikola Mirotic and Ryan Anderson is something I could easily visualize.

Seems like every deece player is getting traded for nothing

Good thing we weren’t looking to move Kemba, we’d probably end up with Tyler Johnson and Josh Jackson

Happens every year and leaves me wondering did we even try, did we just not have the right connections, or is our players just that badly undervalued in comparison.

Agreed, Frank is likely to make us look dumb for trading him and not using him the right way all along.

Gasol maybe going to Toronto now? I wonder what they're offering. I'm fine with 'missing' that chance, sending out a protected 1st for a shot at 6 fun games against Philly/Boston/Milwaukee/Toronto is fine but I wouldn't go any higher than that.

Basically Delon Wright and fillers (Valanciunas, Miles) and a 2RP.

I guess we're talking with Atlanta now or maybe offering a haul to get Jrue here?

JV is better than Biyombo, and Wright is a better prospect than Kaminsky or whoever we were offering

So far so bad. It’s quiet on the front.

We're gonna throw the sink at Drummond, aren't we?

Well, now that Memphis is out maybe Charlotte had other trades lined up and the domino just dropped.

If we stick pat I don't think it would be of any use to watch the rest of the season, we have no shot at beating any of the east's top 4 teams in a single game in the playoffs, we match up so terribly now against all 4 teams

I like staying disciplined on Gasol, but Mitch also better have contingency plans.

Memphis is so dumb for doing that trade if we were willing to trade them a frp. One lottery protected frp is better than any player they got from Toronto.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

I doubt they will propose him anything when he reaches FA if he opts in for next season. I meant the only potential asset for them must be Wright since he matches their rebuild and they already have Rabb & JJJ to develop.

I partially agree but getting a 26 year old Valanciunas is a good rebuilding anchor in the frontcourt instead of the bad contracts we were offering.
