I personally wouldn't do this deal but I think it is better than anything Clippers can offer. Minnesota leans fully into trying to have the best starting 5.

Or it could be zero starters- I wasn't a big fan of Dillingham tbh. He basically is worse than LaMelo at everything. Smaller, worse passer, probably worse defender. Shannon could be a decent bench wing imo and then Naz is likely a guy we would have to extend pretty quickly, but he would give us the stretch 5 look we lack. Either as the new starter/Mark replacement or just a quality backup like he is in Minny.

Pick 17 arguably could be the most valuable piece in the deal, which is why I probably say no ultimately to this deal myself.

I'm high on Shannon Jr that kid is a bucket. He will be a starting caliber player sooner than later.

Houston doesn't even want to move Amen in a Giannis deal, doubt they are even listening to a LaMelo trade that includes him just being honest.

That's just not realistic with Melo's injury history.

I wouldn't even trade Amen for anyone on our roster tbh.
