I think that Gallinari might genuinely be afraid of Chris Anderson - and they are team mates.
He wont really make direct eye contact with him and generally stays a safe distance away from him.

I think they might also be mad at the whole Rip situation - which is an unacceptable situation imo.

Re: Off Topic III
watching clips celtics game. one of clips announcers just made one of the most homerific statements i have ever heard. after griffin makes a nice assist the announcer, while raving about his passing, says that he thinks griffin is the 3rd best passing forward in the history of the nba after bird and rick barry.
how do you even respond to something so ridiculous. dude is a rookie averaging 3.5 assists per game. yes, his passing is certainly one of the underrated aspects of his game, but he still has a long way to go to even be in the discussion for best passing forwards.
just for fun, here is a list of forwards who have averaged over 5.5 assists per game
player - best season
lebron - 8.6
bird - 7.5
g hill - 7.3
pippen - 7.0
s jackson - 6.5
mcgrady - 6.5
barry - 6.3
diaw - 6.2
garnett - 6.0
schrempf - 6.0
odom - 5.9
cunningham - 5.9
mason - 5.7
mashburn - 5.6
bristow - 5.5
a walker - 5.5
some others over 5.0 - mullin, webber, kukoc, ,mccray, english, barkley, baylor
so yeah, maybe a bit premature to say griffin is top 3.

Of those guys you listed Fats, how many are pure PF's, and and how many are SF's who masquerade as PF's?

It doesn't really matter does it? A Forward is a forward. Larry Bird, PF or SF or both?

Of course it matters.
That's why Crash is effective as a SF but ineffective as a PF.

Re: Off Topic III
I think I'm skipping the Clippers game I was going to attend next week. We have one more person going and ticket prices have went up since Griffin decided to jump a car.
Cleveland or Washington. I found some really cheap, nice tickets. I'm leaning towards Cleveland so I can see two of my favorite old bums; BDavis and Jamison.
But, if I go to the Washington game, I can watch Bobcats favorite Cartier Martin (wish they still had Morrison).
Decisions decisions.

By the numbers he's more effective as a PF, but I don't really care. You can't just pretend there aren't players who do both.

the announcer just said "forward". he didnt specify power forward or small foward. bird was a hybrid and could play both but the other guy they mentioned was rick barry who was strictly a small forward and perhaps the first true example of a point forward.
most of the guys who were power forwards who could pass could also get away with minutes at small forward because of their ball handling and passing. guys like mason, barkley, garnett, odom, diaw, walker are power forwards in the truest sense but also spent time in their careers at small foward. then you have true hybrids like bird, kukoc, schrempf who could play both spots equally. true small forwards like lebron, pippen, hill, mashburn and then the wings who could play guard and small forward like barry, mcgrady, jackson.
point being, griffin still has a ways to go before he can be considered one of the top passing forwards or even top passing power forwards. not saying he cant get there. i fully expect him to have at least one season where he averages over 5 assists.
