i see the thunder are on tv again. 3rd nationally televised game this week.

who the f*ck is Carmelo Anthony? Is that Jeremy Lin's ball boy?

No but seriously the Knicks have been Dominating with Lin, so if im Diantoni then I could give two **** less about my overpaid and overhyped one dimensional sorry excuse for a superstar player.... Oh yeah did I mention that I dont Like Carmelo?

You know, Perkins got a lot of buggery for being dunked on by Griffin, but screw that, I admire what Perkins did. His job is to protect the rim and that is what he was trying to do.

What I find embarassing it JaIdiot McIdiot getting dunked on here in the 2nd alley oop (26 sec mark). I mean, he didn't even try. He was too concerned with cowering and trying to get out of the way. That's a punk move IMO. Be a man, do your job and at least make an effort you prissy little prick.

I'm not sold on Lin. Give it a few more weeks and he will be nothing more than a 6ppg player (again). He's a one trick pony. Watch how he ALWAYS goes to the rim from the right. Opponent guards will figure out how to stop him pretty soon.

He also nails it from the top of the Key, but you are pretty much correct, although the Nets TRIED to stop him by playing Zone inside and managed to slow him down for 2 minutes before he broke inside again, so did the Lakers. The thing about Lin is that his drive is SO strong, look at his ability to keep the ball inbound when driving along the backside of the court, that is rediculous- he has such a strong dribble and clearly plays with intelligence. Also When Linn wasnt able to force his way inside against the Nets he simply would charge in, drawing a double team, and then find someone on the perimeter (can you say Novak), also Lin has a great hesitation move and knows how to work the glass to his advantage off his shots. But none of the above are his biggest strength, Lin is about as pure a team player that it gets. Watch his communication on court and in the huddle, he runs the point and his team-mates listen to him. You frequently will see him pointing and initiating plays to counter defenses, Linn simply utilizes his understanding of the game to create holes in the defense. Linn also plays with alot of intensity, he could be sweating blood but if an opportunity presented itself for him to drive to the hole he takes it. In short there are only a few players in the NBA who are able to act as a floor general or tactician, and very honestly Linn could be the best of them. He runs a beautiful pick and roll and has one of the best at it in the League out of Chandler. While Linn might not be able to keep up his scoring his assist numbers are likely to hover around 7-9 because of how well he is at finding his team-mates and creating opportunities for them, literally it is as if Linn goes into every offensive possesion with some master plan as to how to get either himself or his team-mates open.. Not to mention the guy absolutely goes off during the 2nd half, literally look at his scoring #'s. I wouldn't be surprised if Linn over the last 4 games has lead the league in 2nd half scoring by quite a large margin.

By the way as per the few who can run the floor as if surgeons these are the guys:
Jeremy Linn
Steve Nash
Ricky Rubio (he is developing it anyways)
Chris Paul (though Ive noticed he usually favors his shot, but who wouldnt the guy is super efficient)
AND THAT IS IT

scouting will catch up. teams will looks to push him left more often and they will look to make him a shooter. also, melo will slow down the offense and force the ball out of lin's hands.

i doubt he will maintain this 20+ppg, 8+apg pace much longer.

that being said, he is clearly the best pg on that roster and someone who looks to have "IT". i dont see any reason why can cant start for the knicks for the near future or at the very least be a big rotation player. i think his floor is something like 12 and 5 on good %s at a 6th man. as a starter and the 3rd option on that team i think he should easily be good for 15 and 7 going forward. if dantoni has the balls to give lin the offense even after melo and amare come back, he could put up 18 and 8. however, i think that 3rd option is doubtful. i am leaning towards 15 and 7.

15 and 7 sounds about right, but I think that as he develops he could become more of a 18 and 8 guy. Also Diantonni would be wise to force Carmelo to give Lin the Ball, Carmelo would be found a plenty by linn to make a plethora of great plays.... Also remember who we are talking about as in coach, this is a guy who has literally made it his life goal to prove that you can win without Defense, the only man with more balls was Don Nelson...

Classic Felton.
"Why wouldn't I have it? I shot 17 shots tonight, of course I have my confidence," Felton said. "I ain't going to stop. Shots just didn't fall tonight. Doesn't mean I'm not going to take them. If it's in the offense, I've got to take them. Hey, I'm struggling, having a struggling season so far, but hey, whatever."

This guy will never understand how good he could be because he has a warped idea of what he is and what he thinks he has the ability to do.

If he just admitted to himself that he is crap on offense and concentrated only on playing D then getting the ball to his team mates on offense then getting the hell out of the way he would be better off for it - and so would the team he played for.
