No.

I agree that no he is not as it is too early.

He will be soon though, I have no doubt.

I know plenty will say Wallace, but Walker as soon as next season will be better.

I would venture to say second best, as Wallace was a top 5 defensive player in his prime and a solid offensive player to boot.

Kemba will be #1 before long, unless we get Wiggins and he's a 25ppg scorer from day one or something.

We really need a couple of 3 pt shooters to make the Parker drive & kick offense work for Kemba. I like Taylor. Draft McLemore and sign Dunleavy or Francisco Garcia. Or draft Olidipo and sign Dunleavy & Dorrel Wright. An offense based around Kemba's handle, with Hendo or Olidipo & MKG slashing (ala Ginobili) complimented by 3 pt shooters like JT, Dunleavy, McLemore, Garcia or Wright. I like those scenarios.

Hopefully Walker shines like Cousins did last year.

He's going to have to. With the Quickain't fair commercial fully represented it may be hard for him to get a spot on the final roster.

Not surprised. At this stage, I think all but Zeller, Hayward, and Waiters are clearly better right now.

Still, congrats to Kemba. I half expected him to be left off like our guys usually are.

7 point guards in that group, including kemba, and of the 7 i think most people would view kemba as #7 of the bunch, based on NBA accomplishments, reputation, media buzz etc.. point position is just so stacked right now. still happy to see him get some recognition though. i hope he doesn't get timid during camp and defer to the other guards like we have seen him do in the rookie games. he needs to step on that floor with the confidence that he is the best guard there and then try to prove it. i hope he isn't simply content with getting invited.

Kemba Walker finished 21st in scoring, 5th among point guards.

Take a second to let that sink in thats kind of impressive.

Gerald Henderson finished 11th in scoring for Shooting guards. (including unqualified)

Including our bench we finished 1st in the league in backcourt scoring.

I am really leaning towards drafting Bennett now...

Over on hoopshype they seem to think he is not an above average player.

Some on our board don't even think he's above average. People wanting to trade Walker, MKG, and 4 for Cousins like he's the second coming of Bill Russell.

That is just ridiculous, the sad part is they'd probably want to offer the same deal for Bosh.

Kemba is doing his due diligence & staying busy this summer. I heard that he also played at the Dyckman last week before the Rucker. I just hope he doesn't tweak anything

He probably tore it up. His game screams street ball.

I just pray he doesn't get hurt

It would appear that Kemba doesn't follow the "Raymond Felton guide of what to do during an NBA off season" book.
