McLemore is a bit of a spectre this Summer League. The guy can make you wonder how he was ever considered a top 5 pick on some nights, and other nights you love how he fights his way back into the game after starting awfully from the field. That IMO is an indicator of just how incredibly raw the kid is. Once he puts his game together, he has a chance to be something special no doubt about it.

Unfortunately for McLemore, the Kings are one of the worst teams in the NBA with player development. There's no way that Tyreke Evans should have degraded in the stat sheet so badly just over the course of his rookie contract. The smart money here says to bet against McLemore, but for the guys sake, I hope he makes it in the NBA. He easily likeable and with his boomsauce dunk the other night, he shows he can do it.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

I think its time for people to revise their outlook on SAC. You have a fully committed new owner in Ranadive, new GM in D'Allesandro, new head coach in Mike Malone, with Brendan Malone and Dee Brown as assistants. You have two new first rate PGs, Grievus Vazquez and Ray McCallum. Then you add Carl Landry & Mbah a Moute as hard working veteran presences alongside Cousins. Remove Tyreke Evans, and add McLemore. If I was a Sacto fan I'd be totally psyched, not worried about McLemore's future development.

It`s not a campaign against him. He is just what some of us pegged him to be.

I said over and over that if he isn`t hitting his shot, what else does he bring to the table - and the answer is nothing. He`s been awful, down right horrible sans the Toronto game.

People scoffed when I called him Gerald Green V 2.0. I know its only early and he has a longgggggggg career ahead of him but at the moment Gerald Green V 2.0 is exactly what he is looking to be.

I think he's going to be far better than Gerald Green, I just think he's going to be a very poor man's version of J-Rich.

I think BMac will be alright as far as Kings go. He needs a more structured offense to get his shots. Everybody knows he can't really create his own so in the chaos that is the Kings' SL team he's limited to being hit or miss. McCallum is suffering a bit from that as well, doesn't really have anybody else to pass to.

That list is so anti-Bobcats that it's crazy. You can tell that the writer couldn't fathom putting a member of the Charlotte Bobcats on 1st-team, only honorable mention. Jeff Taylor was one of the top 3 scorers in Vegas Summer League & was belittled/designated to "others worth mentioning"

Ben Golliver is a clown - terrible hack with a huge hard on for certain players (see Valanciunas). Downing the Bobcats is part of his journalistic schtick. I have ZERO respect for the guy. No way you leave Taylor off the first team.

I'm honestly shocked. Not because they didn't deserve it, but because the NBA just loves to hate us. Everyone on this least seems legit, they got it right IMO

Bravo NBA...and well deserved by these guys. Zeller and Taylor could become our best pics ever relative to sub-category: Zeller as "best lottery pick", and Taylor as "best value pick". I know Cody has a long way to go, and Kemba is still looking like a quality pick, but his performance and combination of skills/abilities shows a ton of promise. Taylor has some special gifts that could translate into starter material.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Clark goes 12/19 from the field, 7/10 on three pointers for 33 pts as GS wins Summer League.
Read that sportsillustrated link, his shooting efficiency numbers blew away KCP, Oladipo, McCollum, etc. We could do a lot worse than taking a look at this guy for a combo guard spot behind Kemba/Ramon.

I agree.

Ian Clark also played very well in Orlando Summer League by the Miami Heat.
He is a great player, and mainly, a great shooter
