Not to rain on the parade, but the Pacers have gotten a lot of breaks since the All Star break. They have played the Sixers and Knicks each twice, the Warriors without Stephen Curry, the Bulls without Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose, the Cavaliers without Kyrie and Lebron, and their only loss came to the Thunder without Kevin Durant. So Im not reading that much into this. That being said they have finally gotten healthier and did seem to pick up the play when the idea that Paul George could come back this year.

Will be interesting to see if they can continue to play at this level.

And they got a couple of wins (including one during their hot streak) from two of our flukiest losses of the year.

I firmly believe it's all about health. The Hornets, Pacers and Heat have all been snake-bitten the entire year, it's hard for me to believe all three of those squads have a totally healthy final quarter of the season. Whoever has another guy go down for an extended stretch probably finishes 9th, and if more than one of them has bad luck it opens the door for Boston/Brooklyn/Detroit.

Two last second game-winners and I was at the 2nd one. It was the game MKG was out right before the break and we decided to play Taylor. We didn't have Mo either, so Roberts and Taylor were two of our starters

It looks like Miami will beat us out for the last spot.

Bucks are down 5 as well.

Could maybe have been within only 3.5 of Milwaukee.

Bad, bad night.

We could easily go (1-3) in that stretch if Al is out.

Jumpers better be on against Utah, because we probably won't score a point in the paint without Al and with that neanderthal roaming the court for the Jazz.
Humble yourself.

I've invested way too much time and energy into this damn team this season just to end up barely missing the playoffs and some stupid ass 12th pick or something. Ridiculous. They better get their **** together.

Boston is not making the playoffs. If we nose dive that means Indy/Miami confirmed.

I feel much better about our odds of catching MIL at this point.

Its between us and Miami. We can catch Milwaukee, but that would mean the 7 seed and Cleveland since Miami would probably catch and pass them as well.

Just please not Lebron.

I really don't know how I feel about us making the playoffs. I don't know how much the experience is going to matter if we aren't competitive at all. Theoretically, we should be able to at least somewhat compete with every team in the East except Cleveland. I want our guys (especially MKG) to get the experience and I REALLY want to see Kemba playing in some tournament games :-)

Zeller & Al Jeff injuries, those last two games: that was the prow of the ship entering the water at a forty five degree angle, going down. Bad year. Really sucks.
