Any chance Orlando would do that?

We would likely have our pick of Winslow/Henzonja at 5. Frye's contract sucks but we are desperate enough for shooting and good enough at defense and rebounding that he actually seems like he could be more useful than Marv.

I would not touch that trade at all. Winslow while being a better talent is not a great fit and we lose a future pick and anyone else there is a waste because we could get just as good a talent if not better at 9. The added years just put this as over the top bad trade.

Well, the vast majority of people disagree that we could get anyone at 9 that would be better for us than Hezonja. He would likely be our target at 5 regardless of your opinion of him.

I'm not entirely sure, but I'd guess Zeller. They, like us, don't really need more rooks but a young vet (especially one that has such good rapport with their SG) would probably be enticing to them. Zeller would also be a solid defensive presence next to Vucevic.

Payton - Oladipo - Gordon/Harris - Zeller - Vucevic

I love Zeller, but we've (apparently) already floated his name in trade discussions AND we have Vonleh in the wings. I really don't like the idea of trading future picks, even if the pick is unlikely to net a player better than Zeller.

Plus a guy like Frye could help Noah build his 3-point game and serve as that ever-elusive stretch 4 until Vonleh is ready to play.

Kemba - Hezonja - MKG - Frye - Al/Biz

I think its absolutely insane, crazy to mention Zeller in any trades. Him and Vonleh will be our future PF/C in my opinion.

Meh, it's not "insane" nor "crazy," we already tried to move him for Brook Lopez. At least in this trade we'd net a high-end prospect at a big need. I'd love to keep him though, but it's tough to get anything good without giving up something as well.

I'd hate to see Cody go, but I'm open to it in the right deal. I also don't like trading future picks but I would over trading Zeller. I really feel we need to be aggressive in this draft.

At least with Lopez we would get a really, really good player in return if hes healthy. The Nets are reportedly ready to max him out. As if they have a choice with their lack of picks anyway.

Way off topic, but our organization, or perhaps our medical staff completely screwed Zeller over this off season. Sit out over a month hoping his injury heals and it turns out his rotator cuff was 80% torn? Thats pure incompetence, and ignorance. I'd expect that at a local hospital, not for a professional NBA team.

I don't know if I'd swap Zeller/Fyre and our picks with Orlando. I really want Hezonja, but if I'm giving up Zeller and taking on salary I'd want a little more back. I'd give up Zeller in Kings trade I proposed, but probably wouldn't give him up to Orlando. Orlando doesn't really have any sweeteners so I'd be much more inclined to trade a pick in this instance. I'm really confident we will make the playoffs next season if we stay healthy so I'm fine with losing a pick.

Yeah, I find that really troubling. Our training staff needs to be held accountable and there are probably some people that need to lose their job. They were a joke last season.

Biyombo sat how long for a knee bruise? Im not a doctor, and I dont know anything about that kind of stuff, but that sounded like it was waaay too long. Must have been one hell of a bruise. Walkers comeback was on point. The Zeller ordeal screwed him out of a good third of off season shooting. Perhaps more. Hell, they even played him halfway through it and did nothing during 20 minutes or so and he was done for the year afterwards. Just idiotic.

And now hes supposed to shoot threes next year, which I think he could have done all along and I firmly believe its a mental and confidence thing, but it really messed up his offseason.

And we will get killed by anyone who has a real center. Zeller is not center length and Noah is a few years away from being physically ready there. He need to be a PF because I would hate to lose his ability by bulking him up.

Then be aggressive for Russell. Being aggressive for the most overhyped player in the draft is insane. Moving some we know is good and a good teammate for a player who can't defend, can't beat good players off the dribble, is hated by teammates and coaches and makes dumb decisions is a bad move.

The advanced stats say Hezonja is the best shooter in the draft. And he has the athleticism to be a really good defender with some coaching. And we can't trade up for Russell, we don't have the assets to do that without gutting our team. We have a reasonable shot at trading up for Hezonja. It's either that or we stay put at 9.

I'm all for the Magic trade if we can do it without moving Zeller. The cost is too high if we have to include him. I'd offer Sacramento a similar trade for Landry.

Where do they say this? I have seen multiple places that have used the shooting stats and come up with Booker as the best shooter in the draft. Also with the best agility times at the combine Booker has shown the ability to defend. So wasting picks and Zeller on the worse player makes complete sense. If we do the trade I will completely lose faith in Cho. Trading up to grab a worse player then we can get at our pick would be an absolute waste.

I probably wouldn't trade up with Orlando, i dont like trading with division rivals. If we want Hezonja i would try and trade with Denver, i think he'll be on the board then.

So you meant you read a subjective ranking and then you decided it meant he was better. Got it. In that case we can go here and Booker is the top shooter in this draft.

Mine is based off past performance and the way players have transitioned to the NBA. It is a formula he is using based on the way players have performed in the NBA and what their stats were coming in.

Actually the link you provided shows that R.J. Hunter is the Top Shooter in the draft.

I have a question: how is salary matching figured in trades that include a draft pick? For instance, if we want to trade Kemba + 9 to NYK, do we have to take back players who + #4 pick's cap hold = Kemba's salary + #9 hold?
