I have been putting it off all year because I hate making big changes to a computer that is working perfectly fine. What are the main pros and cons? How long does the upgrade take? Anything I should be aware of before I do the upgrade?
I had to system restore after doing mine because a Samsung driver shat itself and sent my computer into a reboot loop. But it retained all my documents and programs so not really an issue.
My co-worker's workstation has 3 HP monitors and has minor issues on the third monitor after the Win 10 upgrade because the driver doesn't like it.
Some people say that they've had programs removed because they're not compatible, but they're few and far between.
Upgrade didn't take long. 2 or 2.5 hours at most. Issues seem to be somewhat rare, but I'd do a full system backup just in case.
Personally, I like to be up to date, but if you don't want to take the small risk, it's not a massive upgrade anyway.
