Not sure but this might have something to do with it but many of the picks that go "LOTTERY" are not always THAT MUCH BETTER than picks that go right after.

What I mean by that is most often LOTTERY picks have a much longer leash than picks after them. They are often added to BAD TEAMS and NEEDED out the gate to perform whereas many after the lottery are going to good/great teams and they often have little need. Then after spending two years in the league they are almost forgotten about.

This draft has some hidden gems. Some of my recent finds include

CG - Noah Reynolds,
PG - Landon Moore,
SG - John Tonje,
SF - Hunter Maldonado, - Who is a 6'7 PG who backs people down off the dribble because he played CENTER in high school I believe.

Kobe King - This guy could be a steal. He has a veterans game. I think there are so many 2nd round gems. I think Kobe King could make the roster.

He is an OLDER player but I think if he goes undrafted he could be worth it. Here are his stats

Yes I have had him as a sleeper before he was on any board or had even played a game in college. lol. He is a talented big.

Seems like Tubelis has finally made into the ESPN's 2nd round. I doubt that he'll climb to the first round, but it would be nice. Will depend on the second half of the season.

There are loads of games on today but the game I will prolly most watch will be

Baylor VS Iowa State - ESPNU - 2:00.

Keyonte George - this game features Keyonte going against Jaren Holmes (who reminds me off Darren Williams).
They nearly mirror each other stat wise and size wise. Not sure if Keyonte will have a good game or not due to
this being a ROAD GAME. Jaren is one of the first players I want to invite to camp if he goes undrafted.

Im watchg the UCONN VS XAVIER game. Andre Jackson got nearly a tripple double. The announcer said he is the 8th leader scorer on the team but the most impactful

Baylor game getting ready to start now ESPNU. I hate that they put 3 games on at once I wouldn't mind watching. The others are Arizona VS Arizona state and Kansas VS Ok State. Oh well I will probably watch

Baylor VS Iowa State - Keyonte George and Adam Flagler VS Jaron Holmes

I hate when I recommend a game and there is a dissapointment. I should have recommended the Arizona VS Arizona state game. Kerr Krissa and Tubelis are balling out. I love those guys. Keyonte has all the tools. He just has to come up bigger on the road. He played so well at home.

4th worst record has a 24.7% chance at top 2, which is only 2% worse than the last place team. The floor is 8th, but only has a 2.2% chance.

If you finish with the worst record you are guaranteed at least 5th pick. 1-3 is the top tier of talent generally and then 4-5 also have pretty good elite talent hit rates. I haven't checked the percentages but it feels like 6 onwards has a much lower chance of snaring an impact/franchise player.

I agree in general but 1 and 2 are wayyy more valuable this time so I'm not as concerned about whether we get slotted 5th or 8th if we fall out of the lottery winners

If anyone is bored I recommend watching the 2nd half of the Ball State VS Toledo game on CBSSN. The game is at
half now.

RayJ Dennis is SUUPER good. He should be a first round consideration.

LATEST FINDS -

PG - Jalen Cook,
SG - *Austin Crowley, Kario Oquendo

Scoot and LaMelo could be the best backcourt in the league. They would be insane on offense. If Scoot is a decent defender against PGs then defense wouldn't be that big of a deal. He at least has a good wingspan for his height and plenty of athleticism so youd think he wouldn't be too bad on defense.

To make up for it, Brandon Miller comes on at 9:00 tonight on SEC NETWORK. Sorry that RayJ cooled off. He had a great first half HIGHLIGHT WISE.

Hornets are currently 2.5 games worse than the 4th worst team. The odds for picks 1-4 are exactly the same for the bottom three teams. The Magic and Spurs are 4th/5th and they are a combined 9-11 over their last 10 games and Hayward/Oubre both went down with injury again, so there is a decent chance this could hold for the rest of the season.

Man Keyontae Johnson looks GREAT. I removed him from my depth chart due to his collapse but he has bounced back and looks better than ever. I want to draft

Keyonte George and Keyontae Johnson

just to make it a memorable draft but they both play the same position kinda lol

Not sure who I like out of these three most - Keyontae Johnson, Ben Sheppard or Parker Stewart.

They all have similar games.

Keyonte George - had one of his best games statistically his last game with 27 pts and 6 rebs. I would like to see him hit his shot more consistantly but that can come with time. He has good form and for the most part takes good shots.

Tubelis - had a great stat game last night with 18 pts / 10 reb / 4 ass / 4 blk / 3 stl. I am not big on stats but cool. He reminds me of Ivan Drago haha. He is such a fun player. I wonder if we should consider him with us having Mark and Nick.

Brandon Miller - He plays tomorrow against Kentucky 1:00 ESPN. I have Toppin from UK as a sleeper

1ST ROUND CONSIDERATIONS - *Craig Porter JR., *Tristen Newton,

2ND ROUND CONSIDERATIONS - Joey Calcaterra,

Brandon Miller plays today at 1:00 on ESPN against Kentucky. Ought to be FUN. Miller is playing at HOME so he prolly put on a show. I like Jacob Toppin.
