Do you have any sources for this? I haven't heard anything of this sort regarding Cho.

That's twice you've failed to read. I was referencing this

The Kings are absolutely in love with Harrison Barnes, but barring a trade to move up, he won’t be on the board when they get their shot with the fifth pick.

Saw it on hoopshype news feed probably a couple days ago. I'll try to find it again but no promises.

Can't find it, but basically it said that Cho doesn't have a history of taking iffy players. That Cho, in this position, is going to take a guy that is for sure over a guy who could easily turn out to be nothing. Basically, Cho would rather the safe pick than to put all his eggs into the potential basket. For that reason, they did not believe Cho would actually draft Drummond.

They're giving too much imo. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

A Hawks fan on another forum offered Josh Smith and their pick for #2 and whatever bad contact(s) we want to dump on them.

Nah I wouldnt do that..... We would be giving them the 2nd pick, a former 9th pick.

For the 7th pick, and an injury prone lottery pick. Curry could be worthless if his ankle doesnt heal.

I wouldn't trade for Curry under any reasonable scenario because I don't really like him. But Curry is supposed to be really good.

Houston has 2 picks, #14 and #16. Is this something either or both would consider?
Houston send Kyle Lowery, #14 and #16 to Charlotte.
Charlotte sends #2, Kemba and Reggie Williams to Houston

Houston has Dragic to play PG, so Lowery is expendable. Kemba would be a terrific backup to Dragic, and Williams a good bench player. But they use #2 to make a huge jump in the West. Lowery would be our answer at PG, Then we have 2 picks, #14 and #16 to add young quality players to the team. Will improve us greatly.

Would either or both do the deal? Just wondering.

That's a nice deal but I think we give up a little too much. Lowry is a good player but as you said, he's expendable thus his value isn't as high.

I think #14, #16, Lowry, Martin for #2, Kemba, Tyrus, Diop would be most fair imo.

Two decent picks, a good PG, and an expiring contract that can help us for one year.

Houston can draft someone or use that pick to flip for a star (maybe Gasol). Kemba gives them a backup at PG and maybe Kevin McHale could do something with Tyrus. Diop expires so he can be used as trade bait or possibly bought out.

If we trade #2, I feel Tyrus Thomas has to be moved or else it's not worth it (unless we're getting back a top player, which is doubtful).

Wow we are overpaying in this trade....

Kemba is the number 9 pick in last years draft. So basically we are sending the second overall pick for an injury prone point guard and giving Kemba and Reggie away for mid draft picks..

I would consider #2 and Reggie for Lowry and 14th....

That's a terrible shooting line up though. Opposing teams would just pack the paint.

I would never agree to this for obvious reasons and also Reggie is signed for cheap.

Anyone seen a lot of tape on Moultrie? If we traded down, he looks like someone we'd have to take a hard look at. I saw a workout thread and he reminded me a bit of Sean Williams.

I like Moultrie, and he was a beast on the boards. His shot is pretty nice also...with better range than Robinson. I haven't seen him play much, certainly not full games. Gotta be a reason he's considered or projected just outside the lottery.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

#2+ Diop for Stephen Curry+ Dorell Wright+#52?
Would you guys do it?

Then trade Kemba for a pick in the mid teens (get Sullinger, Leonard, P. Jones or Moultrie with it)
