It's truly brought me great pleasure seeing him slashing through the lane with ease. I know it's only one game but I already love this kid even more. I doubt he'll be able to do it with the same efficiency in a real NBA game but damn I'm going enjoy the next four more as much as I can.

I think MKG will be significantly better than expected. There is a difference between being a shooter and a scorer. I think that due to his intangibles MKG will be a much better scorer than many of you expect.

so wheres BrotherDave at anyway

Are you starting to get an understanding of what we mean by intangibles yet little brother, BigbrotherDave?

Careful guys, MKG might want to have kids one day. If you all cling to his nuts after one summer league game, the extra heat might kill his sperm.

Hey, Royce had a pretty good game. That team is stacked and he facilitated like a champ.

His first step was tasty but the thing that struck me was his understanding of time, space and angles. His ability to avoid defenders and slice through the key was super impressive - as was his ability to finish at the rack.

Yeah, he has really good awareness on offense and defense; that was his biggest contribution to UK probably.

The real test will be seeing him against somebody that can actually guard him, Sacto's SL team was really bad.

He has some MAD speed, it wouldn't surprise me if he was one of the fastest players in the league- he was blowing by guys with a limp last night.... His first step is almost PG like. (dude is going to be NASTY on the break)

most impressive thing i saw last night from MKG was his defense. its pretty impressive to see an 18 year old rookie be the captain of the defense, yet thats what he was doing.

i am not going to get excited about his offense until i see him vs some real defenders. that being said, his first step is very good.

His first step won't be stopped unless he has an elite defender on him, look for MKG to get to the FT line often- which should bolster his offensive impact.

The more I watch Thomas Robinson in Summer League, the more I love this MKG pick. I wanted MKG all along, but I was a little skeptical of how much NBA-ready he would be. MKG sure looked ready yesterday, and his intangibles will show more the near future. Robinson reminds me of Michael Beasley 2.0 for some reason.
