Kemba's better talent-wise, but Hill is a point guard you would like to have on a playoff team more than Kemba. His height, which is very suitable for good team defense, and the long range shot being the main reasons. So maybe those people have taken that into account, yet ignored Kemba's skills.

george hill plays great defense and has size, as lamar mentioned. kemba so much more dynamic. hard to compare the two players since they are so different in terms of what they offer.

Bonnell all but said on his twitter that Walker wouldn't be in summer league which is fine. He also said Taylor and MKG would be in there which is expected, then said that once you're in the league after 2 seasons you can't compete in summer league. So I guess Biyombo won't be participating.

I tweeted him asking why Mullens could last season and the douche didn't respond, of course.

Felton seemed to go every summer and play in at least one game when he was with Charlotte.

That kid was such a workhorse.

Stole this from general board during a debate about Jeremy Lin. I'm assuming its true.

Here is a list of all the PGs to average 17.9 ppg and 5.8 apg PER 36 (something Lin didn't do during that 23 game stretch):

1 - Westbrook
2 - Irving
3 - Parker
4 - Curry
5 - Wall
6 - Williams
7 - Ellis
8 - Paul
9 - Walker

Pretty nice company

It's cool to see that Irving and Kemba already accomplished this in their sophomore season.
Although, to be fair, the dude who did this research cheated a bit. For some reason, he left out Damian Lillard who averaged 17.8ppg and 6.0apg per 36. That's 0.1ppg under the criteria he set.

I think you are allowed to have one player that has been there to long and any players can go and workout with the team.

I agree. Mullens and Hendo could both go because they are not under contact as well. Same for McBob. Anyone not under contract can play in summer league and it would be nice to have some high caliber guys to play with our rookie(s) and MKG.

I think I would just rather see it be MKG, Taylor, whoever we pick in this years draft, and a bunch of undrafted guys. Hopefully one or two really show us something and we can sign them to Jeff Adrien type contracts.

Grant jerrett
Ryan Kelly
Mike Muscala
Dwayne Dedmon
Eric Murphy
Colton Iveson
Trevor Mbaka
Richard Howell
Arsalan Kazemi
DJ Stephens
Kenny Kadji
Zeke Marshall
Christian Watford
Romero Osby
Brandon Davies

all these guys would be great to start at the bigs in summer league if they do not get drafted. I think at least 7 or 8 go undrafted.

Also, I think we can find two undrafted point guards to go play on Summer league and let them battle it out for the third string spot.

Most years I would have no problem with that. Since we have a new coach and he plans on being there I want as many of our guys there as possible. If they are thinking about bringing those guys back I want them there working out and laying in the new system as soon as possible.

This would allow our main guys like MKG, Taylor, and the 4th pick really get a lot of shots and focus on offense to get them ready for the season. Then if one or two of the guys we bring in do work then we can offer them something extremely cheap to come to camp.

I think there will be some nice gems found as undrafted rookies this year so I am open to getting a look at as many as we can. Here is a few more talented guys who will be questionable to get selected.

DeShaun Thomas
James Southerland
Solomon Hill
Will Clyborn
Elias Harris
Ramon Galloway
Andre Robertson

draft week, not much you can do to keep things on topic. Every thread on BCP is a huge clusterfudge of the same topics. I've tried keeping things in order but it's close to impossible. Even had a guy get his britches in a bunch because I merged his thread.

I'll give you an A for effort though!

How about that Kemba?! Which player do you think he'd prefer to have drafted?

Bennett for the pick and pop and continued focus on big time athletes and fast break ball?
Len for the dump down opportunities to get easy assists?
McLemore for a floor spacer to take some double teams away?
Oladipo to go balls-to-the-wall with on the fast break and defense?

Now THAT is an interesting and VERY good question!!

I think it would be Bennett. Bennett gives Kemba that 1 2 punch that he really needs. A guy who (with his large frame) could create space for Kemba to drive and protect him, who could play the roll or pop off the pick and who could catch AND finish around the rim.

Great question penis. And 1 for you.

i think Kemba would like McLemore. easy assists, stretches the floor more for him, their skills and personalities don't overlap/clash. each brings a skill set that complements the other perfectly. its just a really nice fit in the back court

Bennett gives Kemba more options whether it's pick-and-roll, pick-and-pop, penetrate and kick, penetrate and dish, or feed in the post. Bennett would make Kemba's life a lot easier on the offensive end because he has the ability to play like a wing or a big.

With a big man presence in Cody Zeller, here's my bold prediction: Kemba Walker takes the leap and becomes an all-star next season, averaging 18/8, just like Jrue Holiday did this season. One more reason Kemba will be an all-star: Jrue Holiday is now in the western conference, further weakening the point guard crop in the east.

Kemba is just thrilled to have a young big on the roster that's better than Biz and Mully in Zeller. Having Zeller on the floor will make Kemba a better player. If Zeller can translate this proclaimed deep shooting ability to the NBA I would be willing to eat half a crow.
