Re: Around The NBA 3.0
I love seeing our team vastly improved but it would be a disaster if our pick conveyed to CHI this year.

BTW Dwight Howard 5/16 from the free throw line. Single handedly lost that game for them last night. Did you see video of him running from Lakers so he wouldn't get fouled? Pretty sad.

That was pretty sad if you're a Rockets fan or a Lakers hater, but I'm neither and indifferent to both teams so I got a good laugh out of watching Dwight Howard single-handedly choke away the game to his former team. I was quite miserable and amusing at the same time. I'm sure McHale will think twice about leaving Howard on the floor in a close game within the final 3 minutes again

Watching Anthony Davis is so depressing. He wanted to be here, too. Maybe NOP screws up alot and he decides to sign here after his rookie contract is up. That would be cool

He wanted to be here.
His Mum wanted him to be here.
We wears #23 because he loves MJ.
He'd be a perfect fit on this team.
Depressing.......

Re: Around The NBA 3.0
I don't know how you ever go about proving that draft was fixed. But a team that the league owns is sold and a few weeks later leaps several spots to win a transformative player in the draft? There was and always will be something rotten about it, and I will always be bitter about it. If this had happened to the Knicks instead of the Cats we'd still be hearing about it every day.

Re: Around The NBA 3.0
yea the draft HAS to be rigged, Cleveland gets 2 of the next 3 #1 picks after LBJ leaves, NOP gets #1 pick after CP3 gets traded and Charlotte was a lot worse than both of those teams and ends up with worse picks

Bargs only got 1 rebound and zero blocks today after going for 8 rebounds and 5 blocks against us.

He blocked 2 of Kemba's shots and 1 of Biz, MKG, and Hendo shots. It was sickening.

Correction,. We allowed him to look like a 7 footer. Bargs wasn't soft at all compared to Zeller. I hope we beat Atlanta tomorrow so I can get that game out of my mind.

anybody see the TOR boxscore from last night?
Rudy Gay 11/37 37 shots!
DeMar DeRozan 6/25
Thank God I am not a Raptors fan.

Re: Around The NBA 3.0
Well, I know its early in the season, but there have been some players who have been playing out of their mind who really haven't gotten much attention or just aren't that well known. I'm not talking about Kevin Love or CP3, but more about some of these "other" guys:
SG Kevin Martin: The guy is rewinding the clock and is a huge reason why the TWolves are so much better this year. I thought he would be good returning to his former coach, but he is having a season to remember so far, averaging 24.6ppg while nailing 55.8% of his shots from beyond the arc. He is literally hitting his 3 pointers more reliably than any other shot!
?? Lance Stephenson: Paul George gets all the hype, but Stephenson is a "do it all" SG/SF/PG. He is averaging 14ppg to go with basically 6rpg and 6apg. I remember watching Stephenson grow last year, but he really is one of the most overlooked players in the NBA right now. I don't know how great of a defender he is, but if he is a solid defender than I don't see why he doesnt get more Iggy comparisons.
SG/SF Evan Turner: MCW is getting allot of attention, and fair enough he should be, but Turner is averaging 23ppg with 6rpg on 50% shooting right now. He has been a big reason why the 76ers have been competitive this year. I get the feeling that a combination of factors have led to this breakout (I think he will be able to more or less sustain his play- perhaps losing 3-4ppg by the end of the season), notably new coaching, the lack of a go-to scorer, and the fact that he is set to hit Free Agency next summer.
PG Isaiah Thomas: He is averaging 18ppg 4apg 2rpg on 47% and 36% shooting... And he is doing so in 27.5 mpg.... In 17 minutes against the Blazer he scored 12 points...
Markieff Morris: 17.8ppg 6.8rpg 1.7spg.... In 28mpg.... He is shooting 63% right now and has a PER of 27, which is higher than Lebron James.
CJ Miles: 12ppg in 20 mpg isn't bad, toss in 1spg and you have yourself a highly effective bench scorer. Not to mention he is shooting ~49% FG and 38% from 3....
Iggy: Not an other guy, but still having one heck of a year. 15ppg- not bad, 5apg- nice for a forward, 4.4 rpg- good enough. But what really sticks out is the 2.1 spg and 60% shooting (to go with 48% from 3)..
MKG: 12.1ppg 6.1rpg on 56% shooting to in 29mpg isn't bad. Not to mention a PER of 17 and lockdown defense!
Granted, I understand it is early and there is no way that these players (or at least most of them) will be able to keep up their production. But it is still remarkable some of the impacts these players have had!

I think it would help the Knicks substantially more than the Nuggets.
