Even Lonzo Ball is in the top 10 in the West despite how bad he’s been.

Not to mention Isaiah Thomas has played a total of about 20 minutes all season, somehow he is in the top 10

example of how a good GM can make a real difference:

Bos now owns the Laker's '18 unprotected 1st thanks to the '17 pick swap with Philly. That means BOS might get Jayson Tatum + Marvin Bagley for Markelle Fulz

end of career Paul Pierce, end of career Kevin Garnett, and Isaiah Thomas (for whom they initially traded a Cleveland 1st that ended up being the 28th pick in the 2016 draft) for Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and a top 5 pick next season...

I would take him but I think our priority needs to be backup PG.

Never forget. We traded a mid-to-late 1st rounder for a 1-year rental of Belinelli coming off a career low season in Sacramento. All the while playing him in the rotation over Lamb who was better and ruining development for a stopgap to get invaluable experience in a season where we failed to make the playoffs.

Throw this in the #ReasonsWeSuck101 archives.

Miami want to trade Justise Winslow.

Detroit want to trade Stanley Johnson.

Good thing we didn’t trade MKG in order to draft one of them. Both of them were considered to be similar players to MKG but with better offense.

I sparred a few times with folks about Winslow being able to shoot the three at this level. I was wrong.

To be fair to your beliefs at least he’s attempted to attempt them. He made almost 5x more threes in his rookie season alone than MKG has made in his 6 year career. I wish MKG would at least attempt them occasionally even if it’s at just a 25-30% clip.

I wanted us to sign Burke but oh well.

Watching this Portland game, it's interesting to see Shabazz Napier become one of the better backup point guards in the NBA after 4 seasons. Currently averaging 10 points on great efficiency for a guard while sporting a 18 PER with a positive real plus-minus both offensively & defensively, the Blazers are almost and maybe arguably better with him on the floor than either of Lillard or McCollum

The Clippers are more hampered by injuries than us and are still competitive in the West while playing a bunch of no-names.

Insert Miami Heat because I can say the same thing about them.

I remember making mixes for a trio of those guys (Biz, Zeller and MKG) after each of their seasons. Would always include those five competent post up hooks, two 12-foot jumpers for Biz as if that showed some promise. Come next year it would be the same thing and amount.

Is Kidd that bad of a coach? Bucks fans seem to believe that their team should be winning a lot more than they currently are but when I look at their roster I think they’re playing reasonably towards the standards I’d expect out of their roster. Obviously I don’t watch their games and can’t handpick all of the flaws that they see. It’s probably similar to what we deal with with Clifford.

Sounds like front office friction with Kidd.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
