Clips get their pick, Cavs get their center who isn't guaranteed past this season, while keeping the BRK pick, and Hornets upgrade their roster.

I doubt they'll move Love but we can still probably squeeze into this.

Clips wanna add an asset while still competing. We could send over Dwight + they would get the Cleveland pick and Crowder (basically filler). Charlotte gets cap relief via expiring contracts. Cleveland adds DJ.

Hmm, I get why we would do this, but I don't think it really helps us that much. We do it because it helps us resign Kemba, but we may be able to resign him regardless because Lamb's value may not be as high as previously thought. I feel like we are just dumping Howard for nothing, and it really doesn't make sense because honestly he's better than Jordan but just has a reputation that he doesn't deserve.
I get it, and maybe we can get a couple seconds or a cheap player out of it, but I think clearing $23M in payroll would be worth it. Plus IT would present a short-term fix at backup PG.

WOW Lakers just took Cleveland to the cleaners. IT (exp) + Frye (exp) + 2018 CLE 1st for Jordan Clarkson (not exp) + Larry Nance Jr

This impacts us in a big way, because now the BRK pick is the only 1st Cleveland has in the 2018 and 2019 drafts, which means it is not eligible to be moved unless they gain another pick in one of those years between now and 3PM.

With that LAL trade, the BRK pick is no longer in play.

By the way this would've worked for Kemba. I'm sure this was the last push Woj was talking about, fell through so they went with LA.

Well, the odds of Kemba being traded just went WAY down.

Cleveland takes a risk here. I've lost count of how many times on the trade board the Cavs fans talked about how Frye was the only guy keeping the team from imploding in the locker room. I've also got to think that they are now on the path to going young vs trying to win it all.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Doesn't feel like we're going to make anymore moves. Jordan is probably okay with letting Cho finish out the season and getting someone else on board to plan for the future.

I agree with this. It's the most likely scenario. However if the right trade came along I still think that the team might make a move now.

Makes sense, but if they're going young why give up the FRP? Both those guys are going to be 26 by next season. Just a weird deal. It doesn't help them win at all now and they give up the pick. Basically, their GM *COUGH* OWNER *COUGH* is incompetent, so Cho needs to get on the line and steal Kevin Love while he's at it.

Last thought, if the Lakers resign IT, LeBron will not be going to the Lakers.

I would be down for kicking the tires on IT for MCW and Frank the Tank. Can Willy play next to Zeller or Dwight at all?

Zeller might be able to play pf. He closed the game as pf against the Suns, and maybe he would have too against Denver if the game had been close in crunch time

Otoh, IT here would mean you are looking for another coach
