If we were drafting today I would not have a problem at ALL with us taking Brandon Miller.

If we decide to keep all of our picks I think we have some great options.

Amari Bailey - it took me a whiiiile but I have become a fan of his. He reminds me of Jordan Poole a bit and I think he can be a lottery talent.

ROUND 1 PICK 1 - Anthony Black, *Brandon Miller, *Keyonte George, Jalen Wilson, Noah Clowney, *Nikola Durisic, *Gradey Dick,

ROUND 1 PICK 2 - * Amari Bailey, *Azuolas Tubelis, Jett Howard, Brice Sensabaugh, Julian Phillips, *Ajay Mitchell, *Max Lewis,

ROUND 2 PICK 3 - Sharavjamts, *Craig Porter JR., Kevin McCullar, Keyontae Johnson, MoJave King, *Reese Dixon-Waters, *Devin Carter,

ROUND 2 PICK 4 - *Trey Townsend, *Patrick Gardner, Carlos Alocen, Landers Nolley, Fedor Zugic, *Keion Brooks, Jyare Davis, Zyon Pullin

We are in good shape imo... I would much rather trade the first pick BACK if possible to like 10-15. As you can see there should be some great options all the way throughout. I left off quite a few players... Just giving an idea as to what could be there

There are sooooo many hidden gems in this draft. Most if not all the guys on this list are SENIORS. In the clip I have included Malik Hall. He even looks a bit like Miles.

Malik Hall - This guy I consider Miles Bridges 2.0 without the athleticism. He also goes to the same school Miles went too. He did have a slight injury but only missed a few weeks I believe.
;t=43s

Here are some others look up if you want. This group alone are quality selections.

CG - *Craig Porter JR., Kevin McCullar, Tristen Newton, *Dalton Knecht, *Zyon Pullin, *Brendan Adams, *Cameron Shelton, *El Ellis,
PG - Grant Sherfield, *RayJ Dennis, *James Bishop IV, Jalen Pickett, *Daylen Kountz,
SG - *Ben Sheppard, *Taevion Kinsey, *Parker Stewart, *Josh Pierre-Louis,
CF - *Justice Sueing, *Hunter Maldonado, Baylor Scheierman, *Marcus Domask,
SF - Keyontae Johnson, Drew Peterson, *Jordan Miller, Landers Nolley II, *Keion Brooks, *JT Shumate, Tyler Burton,
PF - Malik Hall, Chris Ledlum, Oso Ighodaro, Taylor Funk,
C - Branden Carlson, Drew Timme, *PJ Hall,

I know you love some hidden gems, but let me tell you Parker Stewart will be lucky to play in Brazil professionally after this year. He is very unathletic shooter who was pretty awful for Indiana. I would remove him from your list.

Thanks for the heads up.... I do value your opinion

But I have to give him more benefit of the doubt for what he is doing CURRENTLY than what he did in the past although the past does hold SOME WEIGHT in evaluating him. Some people struggle due to many factors. System, playing time, enviornment etc.... So if a player is traded or transfers and does well I would it wouldn't be wise on my part to not at least consider him as a summer leagueer lol.

Althleticism - that is something that is not always needed in finding a good player. He can be great without it. Athleticism is a preference more so than a requirement.

It has more to do with he looks great playing at UT Martin, but was a role player in the BigTen averaging 6 ppg as a 23 year old.

Now he is back playing borderline division 2 schools at age 24. I would hope he looks good playing against guys 5 years younger than him.

I agree. He's at the END of my depth chart for possible UNDRAFTED PLAYERS so once you get there it's usually down to players with issues... The draft usually leaves only a few players to choose from once its over, so he would be a summer league invite.

By the time you get there most of the time you are choosing from guys who are either injured, been in the league years and under performed, or in his case just went to a smaller college and played well..

I would rather give him the nod over the injured/guys that been around for years and haven't made it yet.

Tyshon looks better this game. I am p*ssed we don't have Obadiah Noel. Not only do I think he gonna make the league but I think he can be a STARTER. I been following him on twitter ever since he went undrafted.

There has been a change in the update reported earlier. Apparently UNCNYC gave the wrong news and the game will be on ESPN2 at 7:00 instead of ESPN.

We apologize for the inconvinience. UNCNYC has been wrong at least 30 times already in 2023.

First half has been a blur. I have a feeling the game in Alabama will be better.
Miller plays better at home

Anthony Black - one thing I notice is he seems to rarely go to the bench. Has great stamina.
He doesn't penetrate much. and needs to improve his shooting and free throws.
I like his physical play and even tho he doesn't penetrate he still gets the ball in good spots

Brandon Miller - I like that he doesn't force too much and tries to make basketball plays when he is not scoring.
Great thing about him having dribble is it's hard to totally shut him out because he can attack in so many ways.

Anthony Black is NOT the best PG I have seen this year play. Ajay Mitchell is.

I think we should trade back because I am not sold on any pics early but I do NOT think either black or miller
will be bust. I do think they will be solid pieces to a team.

CG - *Nikola Durisic, *Agustin UBAL, Amari Bailey
PG - *Ajay Mitchell, *Anthony Black, *Taran Armstrong,
SG - *Keyonte George, *Mojave King, *Max Lewis,
CF - *Brandon Miller, *Andre Jackson, *Michael Sharavjamts,
SF - *Jalen Wilson, *Gradey Dick, Jett Howard, Julian Phillips,
PF - Noah Clowney, Brice Sensabaugh,
C - *Azuolas Tubelis, *Patrick Gardner,

Lol. There should be a congressional hearing launched if we pass on Scoot at 2. Melo or no Melo, you take Scoot every time.

Thats the worst mock I've seen for this class.

Amen over Scoot would be an all-time unnecessary risk. The Thompson twins turn 20 in like a week and are putting up like 17/6/6 lines against high school pickup basketball competition. Its possible they are good, but I'd be terrified drafting them, let alone over someone like Scoot. There isn't really any problem with the Scoot/LaMelo fit. Garland/Mitchell would theoretically be an even worse fit by that logic.

Nick Smith also shouldnt be top 10 or possibly even a lottery pick.

Hornets are in a 3-way tie for last place. They're 2.5 games behind the 4th worst team and 5.5 games behind 5th worst.

If we were to pass on Scott I'd check myself into a hospital.

I think Wemby is such an obvious #1 I'm not nervous if we get #1.

But until the moment we pick Scoot #2, I'm going to be terrified Mitch/MJ will use some dumb logic to trade it or pick someone else.

"We already have LaMelo and Rozier as our future backcourt. Scoot doesn't fit".
"We have too many young players, and Scoot is young. So we traded #2 for 5 second round picks and Harrison Barnes"
