His engine is vital. Boston compared him to Ben Wallace with his energy. Saying he never looks tired but is exhausting to opponents

The past 10 games he's averaged 2.7 assists per game. The past 5 games, other than a 0 assist game, he's had at least 4 assists in each game.

He made a really good pass to Kon in the Celtics game. He's suddenly become a very competent connective passer.

He's not going to score a lot, but it looks more and more like he's becoming our version of Nic Claxton. Can he average 9/10/3.5 with a block/steal per game for an extended period of time? I'm leaning towards yes, and that is a solid two-way starting level center.

Moose might be the best underdog story in the NBA this year and one of the top five players That's probably easiest to root for.

What are we gonna offer him pay wise this off season, if anything? What's the going rate for hustle guy, difference makers whose impact doesn't always show up in the box score?

Doubt they do it with Brandon's extension coming up but they can give Moose a max of $17M per this summer:

Pretty good company as far as difference makers go.

Moose isn't commanding that number, but he'll get a nice pay bump for sure. a deal around 3/40M or 4/50M feels about right. he's a rotation level guy that we are going to want as a backup for the long run

i wondered when he left the game with 4 minutes to go and headed straight down the tunnel indicating his left wrist hurt but then after the game he was on the court smiling and palling around with everyone like nothing was wrong

Was looking up Moussa stats earlier (as one does) and was surprised to see he's leading the league in offensive rating.

Said it in the game thread but reposting here. It's clear Moose is getting his energy back after fasting for a month.

I would say Moose is the second most indispensable player on the team behind LaMelo, If we lose him to injury, we are likely ****

My concern with replacing moose with a bigger slower centre is they’re likely going to have to change up their defensive scheme which was helping the team during their winning streak. Everyone can switch onto guards and not be lost on an island.
