As for Fringe all the actors suck except for the doc who is o.k. and Alvarez from OZ is awesome but that's probably because I loved OZ and Alvavez was the man (Kirk Acevado)

Oz. Now you're talking! I'd never seen the show and when I arrived here my brother in law had the first three seasons on DVD so I watched them all, over one weekend, back to back and became hooked.

That show was freaking awesome and ever since watching a series for the first time as a box set, without commercial interruption and without being forced to wait a week for the next episode or several months for the next series, I find it hard to watch any other series on TV now the regular way.

It's DVD box sets or naught for me.

Orielly is the man in that show. I loved that show. It was one of the best.

No I didnt really like Poet. He was a little funny but there wasn't much to him. I remember when he said his sister was a doc and Orielly said what's her speciality Vudu? That was great, but i like or dislike poet.
Adebisi was the man. Berr Redding was not as good.

I finished watching Terminator:SCC last night. What didn't you get Fats? I'll go back and look over the earlier comments later.

hmmmm... there were a handful of confusing moments. a few weeks ago i spent a day reading thru the terminator wiki page, which was a nice help. kinda tied everything together a bit better.

weird that the tv show basically jumps over the events in the 3rd movie. apparently they happend in alternate universes. no mention of the wife in the tv show. no mention of cameron in the movies.

the episode where sarah is in the sleep hospital.... just weird.

and whats up with the guy who drove off with the ufo in the truck? who are they with? why did the ufo attack the red head lady at the end?

is the red head lady really on their side? or more of a 3-way fight?

whats gonna happen to cameron?

I understand everything and think it's pretty easy.

They skip over T3 because it takes place starting in 96 but they travel threw time in the first eposide to 2006 which means part 3 never happened. They changed it that moment.

The Alien thing went in the truck to somewhere on skynet terroitory. Just like John is trying to stop it before it happened Skynet has sent machines back threw the years to work on making judgement day happen faster.

They hit The red head T1000 because like Cameron said in one eposide there are a group of machines that don't agree with skynet. There is kind of a cival war going on with machines which of course humanizes them a little but is awesomly creative.

The sleeping eposide was just Sarah going in and out after being drugged by that guy who works for skynet as a hitman and teck guy.

As for Summer Glau/Cameron she has stolen the show to the point where it's painfully obvious the show is in trouble because Sarah sucks and they need to make it John,Derek and Cameron, so as I was saying they will have Cameron the human and then just as it happened the first time there will be a terminator that looks like Summer and John will reprogrammer it or they will do something to keep Summer (Cameron) around.
She has a cult following which I am the leader of, she is the best actress and the most expierenced.

John Henry is being acted by a terrific actor but Summer is a much better Terminator. The only reason why Arnold was better was the acient. If them 2 had the accients Summer and John Henry would both be better because they are better then Arnold.

Ok, here's my best understanding:

T:SCC occurs in an alternate universe from T3. It works since time travel is such a critical aspect of the show, but yea, both T:SCC and T3 take place after T2 but with totally different events having transpired in between.

At the beginning of the sleep clinic episode, Sarah is investigating a warehouse connected to the place that she got shot at (and Catherine Weaver later destroyed), sees a wolf...then gets taser'd by the guy she thought she killed at the other factory. It's not really explained why that guy (Winston I think) is at the factory (Coincidence? Was he following Sarah?), but yea, he's there. When Sarah comes to, she's been checked into a sleep clinic for her insomnia problem. By the end of the episode we find out this isn't actually happening, she's in the warehouse being drugged and the whole sleep clinic illusion is because she's TRIPPING BALLS. Winston is trying to get information our of her and I guess eventually inserts the tracking device we learn about later into her boob. She kills him for reals and drives off, showing no remorse about killing Winston this time.

The guy that loaded up the ufo (drone actually) worked with Winston. He was presumed dead by his company (thus the development about his wife and kid knowing he was alive during the wake episode), but he survived the Weaver fire because he was in the hospital or something. The drone was the thing that Sarah saw at the factory after she had been shot but hadn't passed out yet and I guess is the thing she was represented by the three dots she was obsessed about for the majority of the season. We don't know who all of those guys are with, only that they end up being relevant to SkyNet's development.

Weaver is totally up in the air. My two ideas:

1. She's on the Resistance's side, perhaps sent back by John himself and is different from the gooey Terminator that got loose on the submarine that wouldn't join their fight. This explains why she torched the factory (she understood the threat the drones would pose) and created John Henry. It doesn't make sense why she wouldn't have known much about the Connors, unless she was being a liar or just hadn't been informed during her programming.

2. She is totally evil and behind everything and was sent from the past to make sure SkyNet reached singularity. In this scenario, she could be that gooey submarine terminator. She gets the Turk to create John Henry and is behind the company creating the drones (worth noting that the drone manufacturing company is owned by a foreign investment group and Weaver doesn't have US citizenship, she's Irish) and only goes to the facility to burn it down to destroy any evidence. Making things more interesting, maybe she goes into the future with John in an attempt to dispose of him as a threat entirely.

I guess it's possible she's working independently of SkyNet or the Resistance, but it's hard for me to wrap my head around her motive in this scenario.

Cameron the terminator is no more. Allison, the human who Cameron was based on, has just met John as the season ended. I hope we get a third season to figure some of these things out, but I'm not holding my breath.

To be honest I never considered watching it because T3 was so bad and all the Fox ads with the naked lady terminator made the show look terrible.

agreed t3 sucked. i tried watching recently and it was awful. cameron much better than arnold.

yeah, i watched the sleep episode a second time when it came on, and it made more sense the second time. still, it was weird.

agreed, sarah sucks and the show should be focused on cameron, john and derrick, by far the best characters. thank god they brought derrick back. i was gonna be pissed if he was gone.

i'll miss cameron, even though allison appears to be there. its just not the same.

still the most confusing part surrounds the red head lady. still not entirely sure what she is up to. i hope we get to find out.

If Garrett Dillahunt is the actor who plays John Henry/Cumartie then hell yeah. Proof last house on the left. He carried that movie and made it awesome and horror movies are almost never awesome.

As for your take on some of the things I have to disagree with ya, there is no way John sent her back because if he did she wouldn't have said join us to Ellis to tell Cameron.

Also if She was helping Skynet should would have killed John when should could have so easily by simply not saving his life when the machine flew in the window and she made that angel to move to block it.

Would any of you guys want to be friends? I mean hang out to do either 1 of 2 things. I have to do about a month more of physical therapy but after that I want to play basketball. Anybody know of a good place and play?

Anybody here really into dogs? The only thing I like more then hoops is dogs. I goto Millbrook dog park every week and have 2 dogs. Anybody else have dogs and like hanging out and letting there dogs socialize with other dogs?

I am not some loser who doesn't know how to talk to people I am just new to the area as you all know and I work from home. Hard to meet people. My only friends so far a females and my wife hates it espially since 1 of them is my neighbor and she hot and out of all of them I am closest to her and my wife really doesn't like that friendship. Im also working out and the better I look the more my wife hates it so I need to make some guy friends and play ball and do something.
Anybody willing to be a nice guy here in Raleigh or close to.
My other hobby is working out but i got to do that alone cause i get to serious.

Also my personality here is pretty talkitive but I am kind of an easy going quiet person in real life.

Maybe "join us" is coded differently than what seems obvious, we never find out what the deal was with the submarine chick, only that she floated off somewhere.

She didn't just save John, she saved everyone in the room. We're dealing with a show revolving around time travel and how fragile the space/time continuum is, I think it's silly to outright write something off so easily. Maybe she needs Sarah and Ellison alive in the present to mess something up so Skynet can achieve singularity, but she sees John as a threat so she travels into the future with him. Taking him into the future forces John to start at square one as leader of the Resistance and he has no protection, so he's easy pickings whenever she decides to take him out.

Garrett Dillahunt did a great job in Deadwood and John from Cincinnati. His range is wide.

Did you see last house? That one was sick. I saw it in the 1.50 movies and expected nothing and only saw it because there was nothing else out. Then I saw it was him and I thought this movie is gonna suck because that is a terminator and I can't see him as anything else. I was dead wrong. That movie was awesome.
Speaking of great movies I saw Wolverine on Sunday. Very good. A plus from me.
There gonna make a spinoff of Ryan Reynolds character next Deadpool which will be good because Ryan R is halirious.

I was thinking hoping you would answer the call amoung a few others. We both live in Raleigh, same age and play ball. I need somebody to show me around to, don't know much about Raleigh still.
Don't know if you guys play pool but that would be my 2nd favorite sport if u can call it that. I got a pool table in my complex with a hoop and a gym and pool but I want to go to a park were there are all levels of competition playing. I am not the guy playing in the big game but I am defenately not bad.
