Shot blocker be damned. I just landed the BEST 6th man in the NBA today in the late rounds.

Suck it.

I don't like Ellis - Ginobili backcourt with Dwight. Neither Monta nor Manu are 3pt shooter first to benefit fully from Howard inside.

Ty Lawson is (10 for 10 remember? Well he did miss one right after but still), and they're both plenty good at it. Also we've seen how well they've done just loading up on outside shooters. It's hit or miss, and that doesn't win championships. I'd much rather have the extreme versatility Monta and Manu have to guys like Jrich.

Yes, I know. I just hate his ignorance and how much he plays for stats, goes for a block any time somebody pump fakes.

I was considering Odom last round for my starting Sf spot, but thought he had slowed a bit to much for that now.

I'd definitely agree to that. Maybe backup, but I wouldn't want him guarding starting SFs, especially not in the conference finals, for example.

I just had a strange idea. I like the idea of voting for who is best, but wouldn't it be interesting to see the 12 teams go in a full playoffs on 2k11 or something? I know it could be done haha.

EDIT In other words, in the boredom of the lockout I volunteer to do this.

I almost took him instead of Ty, but he's kind of been on the slide.

He's going to back up Felton so I went ahead and grabbed him.

captaincrunk wrote:I think I've got the strongest team right now. Every player I've picked can play two positions extremely well.

Dwight = C/PF

Manu = SG/SF

Monta = PG/SF

Some other guy = Great guy I'm sure. Can't remember who you are though.

I did it this way so I wouldn't be boned too hard trying to find enough bench depth to have a 48 minute team.

EDIT: Sweet! I picked Ty Lawson drunk? I should have been wasted this whole time :D

:lol: :lol:
First Manu can't play SF "extremely well",his body canoot that that much hit and he would be undersized there,which will fatigue a player who can only play around 32 minutes due to fatigue factors to begin with.
Second,Monta at SF?Let's say it's a typo (SG),I don't think he plays PG that well either,he just has too little court vision and he plays the best off-ball (see 07-08 with BDiddy)
For one I considered picking Kidd with Ellis in the earlier rounds but somehow I gave up.

My boy McGee came to play haha

He also had 12 rebounds and 6 blocks. Most of his points came from dunks, he also had a coast to coast one. Our local players were scared as hell that every time he's on the floor, they would stop driving inside the lane. :lol:

Nuff said, McGee is a beast in 2k11 tho, my crew uses the wizards, bar none the best rim defender in the game.

and i'll go with Aaron Affalo for my first/last

I don't feel like looking up the old thread, but I know someone created the teams last year and simulated part of the playoffs at least... I would think it was totally awesome to see who triumphed out of a 7 game series between these teams.
