MKG sure looked ready yesterday, and his intangibles will show more the near future. Robinson reminds me of Michael Beasley 2.0 for some reason.

Probably because he plays like a forward despite having shown great rebounding/post O promise in college. Robinson is acting like a guard out there- needs to act like a PF, that stated Fredette might just go down as one of the largest busts in recent memory (the dude can barely get up court) which is hurting Robinson's production.

BrotherDave was probably one of the Cam haters who publicly campaigned against the Panthers after we drafted him, only to eat massive amounts of crow during the season

Wrong! I was actually okay with it b/c I thought Luck was really overrated and didn't complain about settling for Cam. And I hate, hate, hated Delhomme/Clausen/that other guy so any new QB was fine with me.

I was. Didn't like the pick and still don't; not sure if he can sustain being healthy playing that style. I'm also still not in love with his arm...I wanted Luck and still do ;P

The guy has looked real solid in the one game thus far... he looks better than I'd hoped, and like he'll be a good player for you. I still dislike the pick, because I don't think he's got any chance of being a top 2 pick out of this draft, and that's a problem for a #2 pick in a draft this deep.

I know it was only 1 summer league game, but what he showed in that game (passing, rebounding, running the floor, driving to the basket, defending) was better than any rookie has shown so far in SL. With Beal and Barnes being primarily shooters, whereas MKG is the complete package at SF, I think it was very worthy of the #2 selection.

We should all be relieved we didn't take Robinson. Yeesh

Again it was only 1 game. Can't wait for the season to get here.

He looks better than Robinson, you dodged a bullet there. In a few years time will be look like a top 3 player in this draft though? I doubt it.

Who would be better? Davis... and no one else seems like it. the only other guy even close was Beal, and after that was some fat kid named Waiters who couldn't even start in college.

What 3 players would be better? Beal? This is a 6'3 SG who lacks explosiveness, doesn't create his own shot, and doesn't play with alot of energy or seem to have that fighters edge about him. He essentially looks like a highly drafted catch and shoot player.

Robinson is another undersized player except he's in the post. He seems to have very good quickness, but hasn't shown great rebounding ability in summer leagues and he has trouble scoring vs bigger players.

Waiters?

MKG, Davis, Lillard, J. Lamb, Ross, and maybe Rivers might be the best out of this draft class. As long as MKG continues to develop, he will be one of the best, and possibly the best of the 2012 draft. When you know how to play ball, it doesn't matter if you have plays drawn up, or if your in a pick up game type setting, you'll standout, and this is why I said I thought MKG would be a beast in summer league because he just knows how to play ball. The man dominated the first summer league game with a injured knee! If MKG doesn't end up being one of the best 3 in this draft I'll be very surprised.

If we're just going off Summer league games (which everyone here is with MKG... one game in fact), then the Rockets alone have at least 2 players who look better or as good so far. The book on Drummond or Beal is not written yet, and Lillard has definitely looked better than MKG thus far. Sure, it's too early to tell, but to dismiss him is silly, he's looking awesome.

You drafted this guy #2 overall, not 5 or 6 or 7. The standard is different,

its pointless to try to predict the top 3 rookies from a draft class based of 3 summer league games.

You make this statement without stating who we should have actually picked.
