I laughed upon reading that report. The point guard position has the most talent floating around the league and Nelson isn't even in the better half. I think Nelson would be a good fit on the Nets veteran filled roster for their playoff run as a quality backup PG (better than Livingston IMO), but I don't think they have any picks to trade. Orlando might just end up buying him out

But it does show that Williams has got game imo.

He really is a 4 and going to Minny ruined his start out of the gates in the NBA.

He can play some 3 also imo, not at a real effective level but better than Hendo or Tolliver imo.

^^^

post in regards to potential Williams trade.

Does anyone have any ideas about a potential trade with Denver or NOP for Jefferson?

Would love to get back Eric Gordon. Then they could possibly insert Evans at SG and start Jefferson alongside Davis.

I'm with you there LP.

Either Gordon or Evans back would be perfect though we could package something else.

Charlotte trade: Al Jefferson+Gerald Henderson

New Orleans trade: Eric Gordon+Ryan Anderson

Not entirely out of the realms of possibility.

I've got one for you guys: would you trade MKG and Kemba (and maybe a pick?) for Evan Turner and Carter-Williams? (I have no idea if this trade would work under the current cap rules)

You should be banned from this board for putting out such a trade idea.

Just kidding.. Definitely pass.

No. I'll take my homer goggles off and say it still looks like a lateral move at best.

No but I'd do Turner for Henderson+Haywood.

Not a fan of either player we get in this deal. I have a bad feeling MCW will never play like this again. I won't say he didn't impress me a lot, because he did, but I have a hard time believing he's a consistent triple-double threat. Evan Turner is a no-go as well.

Evan Turner has ripped it up so far in two games. Sixers are 2-0.

Yeah I know but that deal is as lopsided as Kemba+MKG for MCW+ET.

So we can offer it to them!

Per the WT Turner doesn't feel a part of the Sixers future.

Well their new GM wont ever talk to him about a contract extension. The one bad thing about Turner is that hes going to put up nice numbers on a horrific team. Yeah the Sixers are 2-0, but thats about like us starting off 9-5 last year. Hes still a tenacious defender and solid player in my opinion

I'd trade Hendo for ET all day. Turner has looked good now that he's shed 15-20 pounds and no longer trying to be a SF like Doug Collins tried to make him.
