Kitty logic: sign and keep Cory Higgins on the roster for an entire season, but don't give Kendall Marshall a chance.
Humble yourself.

Don't want MCW. He's a light-skinned version of Jrue Holiday. I don't know why everybody's so intrigued by him as a rookie. He's old enough to have been a 5th year senior in college. He's just older and more mature than the other rookies. He must've did like 3 years of prep school after high school or something to be that old.

Olynyk had 25 points on 11-for-17 shooting, 5 rebounds, 7 assist, 2 steals, & 1 block. He's had a couple of stat stuffer games like this throughout the season. If Cho had the brass, he would've traded down knowing that if he loss 'his guy' in the process he still could've got a solid player in Olynyk that could've fulfilled that solid backup PF/C role. I liked Olynyk's game more than Zeller's anyway, but that's neither here nor there now

Like I been saying over the past 2-3 years, just a product of the NY media hype. Although I think he's feeling the after-effects of returning from a torn ACL which is leading to his very lackluster play lately, he never was that good to begin with

OKC is playing well. I don't know what changes they've made other than Durant going nuts, but they are finally starting to click without Westbrook

Some may remember that I've hyped up Mike Conley before and am a fan of his.

Here's how great his season has been so far:

And that doesn't factor in that the high usage rate is a part of Gasol's injuries and how he has maintained a good TS% and low turnover rate throughout this period. Moreover, you can't put a number on his defense.

Ben McLemore, Sacramento Kings: Maybe it's completely meaningless and utterly arbitrary, but ever since LeBron James posterized him in Miami on Dec. 20, here are the rook's averages over those 12 games: 21.0 minutes, 4.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 31.7 percent shooting from the floor, 32.1 percent from downtown and 0.7 free throw attempts.

The worst part? He has 35 fouls and one steal over that span. That's horrendous for an athlete like him.

You probably haven't heard more about McLemore's demise because the most of the top 10 in the 2013 draft (with the exception of No. 9 pick Trey Burke) has been a train wreck. But McLemore's minus-0.4 PER this month illustrates how bad it's gotten, and he's now in danger of dropping out of the rotation after losing his starting spot earlier this month.

He's still just 20 years old, but we could be waiting a while for his athleticism to translate onto the NBA level.

Despite Cody Zeller's woes, I'll give Cho credit for not biting the bait of Ben McLemore. It was apparent that McLemore was going to struggle in the NBA mercifully from observing & evaluating his game at Kansas last year

Harrison Barnes: 19 minutes with zero points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals.

Woah. I know MKG disappears from time to time, but not to that degree. Dude had another 20 minute 0-4 night the game before last. Would it be too harsh to call him the Iman Shumpert of Golden State?

Harrison Barnes' play in GSW is indeed overrated, and mostly due to his performance in last season's postseason. His hype is basically living off a few big games of yesteryear. Barnes hasn't improved one bit from his rookie season into his sophomore season. In fact he may have regressed some albeit receiving more playing time

It might be too harsh to call him the Iman Shumpert of Golden State, but it's not like you're comparing apples & oranges. They are both young players that aren't living up to the billing of their hype & expectations

Yeah, that's harsh. Barnes is a good player. Not special, but he's good. He simply gets more hype being a young player on a really good team.

one of the crazier plus/minus boxscore moments i've seen - aldridge was +40 in 32 minutes. his backup, thomas robinson, was -24 in 16 minutes. 64 pt swing between the two.

Check out Derozan stats over the month of January as the Raptors have been winning consistently.
